Breville Instant Cappucino

This is an update as I have posted a review on the Breville cappacino before.

My latest machine has been working for 12 weeks and I do use it most days I make sure I clean it immediatly after use and if it starts steaming I rum a Bi-Carbonate soda mix through it. I took out the extended warranty and have already had to change it twice.

I love the coffee and hot choclate it makes - the cost of each cup is just a fraction of what my daughter's pay for their posh capsule coffee maker's.

I will be so dissappointed if it goes wrong again, I will have to admit defeat and research for a different make/model. I have never taken it apart but it is not made to last. This is the longest that it has worked so far ????

This Coffee machine makes fantastic cappuchino I would even go on to say its OUTSTANDING cappuchino. but thats where it ends look pretty good we have had it over a year now but I would have to say that if we had used it every morning from new and you compare that usage to actual use over the time we have had it. Then it would have lasted just over 2 weeks I have opened the back and had a look the problem is that the dial to despense coffee and turn on the milk flow and the steam is flawed as it seems to do all the fuctions in one after closer inspection the whole interior mechanism is made from poorly slotted cheap plastic and for approximatly 17 uses gives me the impression that breville are crooks as far as I am concerned to charge almost £80 for complete rubbish they should be sued if we were in the USA they would be crapping themselves due to litigation

As for your star system you have made me give the single stars to enable this review I did try to post this without giving any for those marked with 1 star

I had this coffee maker for christmas and really liked it - made lovley frothy coffee with normal instant coffee and not too strong - easy to adjust milk/water mix to suit individual taste. gorgous frothy hot chocolate - I was so diaappointed when it went wrong within the month and I could not get a replacment at that time.

I have now noticed it is back in stock at half price and intend to buy it again as I liked it so much.

I hope it lasts this time but do intend to take out the additional insurance cover

When the Breville Instant Cappucino works it makes a lovely cup of frothy milky coffee, just wish it worked longer. This is our second machine in a month, and this one as broke. The handle is flimsy, it takes ages to heat up, you have to turn the handle to put the coffee in a good few time before the coffee goes into the machine.
