We Bought This Russel Hobbs Cool Wall 2 Slice Toas
We bought this Russel Hobbs Cool Wall 2 slice toaster 2 years ago and granted, it is at the low end of toaster prices but it is by far the worst toaster I have ever owned!
To make sure of even toasting you have to turn the toast halfway through. It also doesn't deal well with thinner bread as it is often makes the bread very dry.
The timer is the worst thing about the taoster. Even if you have it turned down as low as it will go it still has a tendancy to burn the toast. After a short while, I realised that you had to stand there and constantly check on the toast to make sure it didn't burn.
Finally, it has decided to go POP while in the middle of trying to toast some bread. Although I believe that products should last for more than two years, I'm actually really pleased to see the back of it. My only regret is that I didn't take it back just after I bought it.

Because I Had Had Good Experience With Other Russe
Because I had had good experience with other Russell Hobbs products, I purchased a Russell Hobbs Toaster Model 9206-40. What a mistake! It heated slowly and produced dried, hot bread, only one side even looking like toast.

Toast Came Out As If It Was A Week Old. I Fin
toast came out as if it was a week old.
I finally purchased a genuine restaurant toaster - finally, perfect color toast, quite fast, slightly moist in the center, just the way good toast should be!

I Had Some Boots Vouchers Burning A Hole In My Poc
I had some Boots vouchers burning a hole in my pocket so I thought I'd scrape them together and buy a fancy looking chrome Russel Hobbs toaster. What a mistake. The toast it produces is bone dry to the point that every piece of toast you try and butter splinters into a thousand pieces. We soldiered on through thick and thin (slices) but eventually one of the fine wires on the toaster failed. Unfortunately, even though I was able to remove the offending component myself, the item is judged to be too dangerous to replace by the UK agent (Pifco) and the thing had to be scrapped. On the day it went, I dug an old £8 toaster out of the cellar that produced beautiful toast. So much for fancy looks.
