Improve Cheap Joint

I used it for the first time Saturday night/Sunday morning bought a cheap joint and after prepping switched it on at midnight and went to bed. We eat for Lunch the next day and wow what a beautiful tasty meal. What a useful addition to our culinary needs. I will continue to save money by buying the cheaper cuts and cooking slowly thus releasing flavours ect.

An Underrated Piece Of Kitchen Equipment

After just preparing tonight's meal in my slow cooker, I decided that it was about time I gave it a review. I've used a few slow cookers in my time, but nothing has ever come close to my Kenwood slow cooker. I've had it for over 2 years now, and it has served me so well ever since I first used it. It gets much more use in the winter, but its so good it even makes an occasional appearance for BBQ style dishes in summer and early autumn.

There are two things that make my Kenwood slow cooker stand out from the rest. The first thing is the ease of use; its super easy to clean and maintain, it features cool touch handles which mean it can be taken straight to the dining table, and the cooking settings are simple and effective (low, high, and auto). The second thing is the food it produces. I'm not sure if it locks in heat/moisture better than other slow cookers, but both the flavour and the texture of the food that it produces is second to none. Melt in your mouth meat, super tender vegetables.. of course, it helps if the chef is a good one ;)

I'd recommend the Kenwood CP658 slow cooker to anyone looking to make their first purchase of a slow cooker, or as an upgrade from your current model. You'll never look back!
