Swan Microwave SM22010C

it was not that great but ok

A cheap product for all who need a microwave as soon as possible. I receivered my order really fast, and I enjoyed to use this microwave.

I bought the Swan SM22010C 20L Manual Microwave from Woolworths online February 16th 2014. On Saturday March 1st when turning the timer switch there was an explosion, sparks and a flame. I contacted Woolworths who agreed to take the microwave back but I was not concerned about that only the dangers attached to this microwave for other purchasers. It is still advertised on the Woolworth web site and there was no one available to speak to me at a higher level. They said they would ring me about it but have not done so. I asked for a telephone number to contact Swan direct and Woolworth told me they did not have one. After two hours today I have found a contact number for Swan but they do not reply - ever ! In the meantime I have contacted Trading Standards to try to ge this item look at but in the meantime there might be other microwaves manufactured by Swan with the same or worse fault and I cannot get the message across.
