Terrible

Failed after purchasing only a few moths ago

Unreliable & Panasonic Servicing & Attitude Very Poor

Bought new Panasonic combi microwave NN-CT880MBPQ. Failed entirely after 13 days - the display disappeared & the turntable went round by itself every time the door was opened. After much argument Panasonic agreed to send it to their service centre. Service centre lost it, found it, and then told porkies about when it would be returned. Finally got it back after 2 weeks + with the door obviously misaligned. I thought this was annoying but cosmetic and I needed to use it as it was Christmas. Surely it would be safe as they would have tested before return? Advised to test it in case, so I bought a tester which promptly went right to the far end of the red scale as soon as we switched on the microwave. No battery in tester, so effect had to be due to microwave.

So far Panasonic have blamed the courier (who delivered it well packed surrounded by polystyrene and in an undamaged box), and offered a refund & £20 M&S voucher but won't even pay the £9.95 the tester cost me and want to take it back to the same service centre (the one that did the damage and told the porkies) to test it themselves! Cannot trust them an inch now and would NEVER BUY PANASONIC for anything ever again. Very stressful experience all round and very difficult company to deal with.

Well, this one wasn't durable, was it!

Everything about my experience with Panasonic was unsatisfactory. Finally, after consulting Trading Standards and then sending a registered letter quoting the relevant laws to them, they did refund my costs, but it was like pulling teeth! I still have a pile of photos, paperwork and emails to prove it - Just not worth the hassle dealing with a company like that.

I like panasonic brand. Most of my appliances brand are panasonic and the durability is awesome!
