New World G50S

I bought this cooker 2 years ago and it was the worst decision I ever made.i can't cook anything in the oven as it won't stay lit unless the door is left open,I would not recommend it to anybody,

I wish I head read other reviews about New World before I bought this product. I've had similar problems with the grill going off, now the oven will switch itself off too and pump out the gas. There has always been far too much heat escaping when the oven is on. You can't use the hob when the oven is on - its so hot. In fact it is so hot that the timer and clock button melted not to mention that it takes the food double time to cook. Worst purchase ever - seriously!

New World oven is the worst oven i have ever come across. It does not stay on 99% of the time. The grill leaks gas and have now stopped using it. There is nothing i like about this oven

iv had my cooker repaired 3 times and it keeps braking down but they keep repairing it first the oven nob broke then the oven wouldnt light and now i havent had an oven for 3 weeks and still waiting for them to come bk and fix it or write it off it is very cheaply made and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone not if its the only thing u could afford and its been taken off comets cookers it must be rubbis i have writen to comet asking them to come and remove the cooker and to give me a credit note and compensation so we will see what they do but dont go buying the new world g50s gas cooker its a death trap

New World G50S is absolute rubbish, oven will not stay lit, had an engineer out 2 days ago and went to use it today and oven will not stay lit, grill cooks unevenly too.

I used the New World G505 oven once and it would not work again. New World engineer was called out 3 times to fix same problem. I went 3 weeks without an oven! Would work for 15 mins then shut off and won't re-light. You also had to hold the knob in for 15 seconds or it would shut off. This oven never would stay on after 15 seconds! I had to hold it in for a full minute! The first 2 times, I had to wait a week for the engineer to come out. On the 3rd visit, the engineer could not light it and suggested I send it back and left a job number to give to Argos so I could return the product. Argos informed me that it wasn't a valid return number, so I phoned New World and they said it was still repairable and that the customer is insisting the product to be returned. I'm not happy with the customer service I received from New World at that point. Argos still took the product back and gave me a full refund. All I expect when I buy something new is for it to work! This product does not work and in my opinion, no one should buy it!
