We paid allot of money for this electric range which we bought in Oct 2009. We have had nOhing but problems siNCE we hve bought it and have required a repairman on a monthly basis since then.

The self clean feature is defective, the first time the cycle ran for 20 mins and then stopped working and the oven door would not open, a repair man came 1 week later and said it was the thermastat and changed that. I tried the self clean agin but the temperature would never get high enough to clean. Another call to the repair man and he changed the control board of the whole stove. In the meantime the temperature probe broke for the convection oven resulting in no use of the oven again for 2 weeks. The repair man said not only was it the broken probe but also a short in the wires. He also found out that our cooling fan did not work and had to order that part. It never worked since we got out stove. It could have caused all our electronic compenets to overheat and melt. Ktichenaid NEVER AGAIN. The STOVE IS kITCHENAID ELECTRIC RANGE ARCHITECT SERIES II
