AEG 66201 KF-N

I have owned this hob for over 5 years. One day it went bang and I called out a Service Engineer, through the AEG website. He charged me £50 to tell me the motherboard would need to be replaced. He must have been really good because he did this without conducting any tests. Whilst I don't expect the hob to last for decades, I expected it to last longer than 5 years.

I wrote a letter of complaint to AEG, who were even less helpful. I will be staying away from AEG products and would advise others to do the same. As it appears, the other reviews are equally scathing, so I am not alone with my poor opinion of AEG hobs.
