Over Priced Cooker
If you are an enthusiastic cook - as opposed to a "kitchen poser" who likes to heat up over-priced food from M&S - then look elsewhere for a quality cooker.
Sensible people ooking to buy products search for reviews to aid their decision making. Unfortunately, most people post reviews only a short time after making a purchase...so the long-term service life of a product is rarely covered.
Well, we purchased a very similar model to the one shown here over six-years-ago. We paid £2,300 for the privilege...thinking we were buying a quality product. What we feel we got was a sheep in wolf's clothing.
The heating elements failed in both ovens - outside the guarantee period - and Britannia's importers, in Blackpool, wanted a fortune for replacement them...
In my opinion the elements are simply not up to the job. It's a stylish looking cooker and a well thought out design. However, like so many other companies' cookers it is let down by one or two poor quality components...
Reminds me a little of an old Italian car. Beautiful to look at - but you are likely to spend most time viewing it at the dealer's repair shop!
If you want to view our Britannia...it will soon be in our garage...as I'm writing this review whilst looking for a more robust range to replace it!
If only the Japanese, or Germans, could get a foothold in the Range Cooker market...we can but hope.

Stylish Cooker That Spices Up The Kitchen!
I love cooking and when the opportunity arose for a new I needed to make the right choice. Thankfully I did! Britannia were excellent with their communication and delivery (I chose the 72 hour express service) and installation so that was pain free.
The cooker itself looks great in a modern kitchen and is very contemporary. It has plenty of features that you would expect. 6 hobs, 2 ovens with electric grills so all you need to rustle up a perfect Sunday lunch for the extended family. I really liked the storage drawer at the bottom as I'm always misplacing utensils !
The cooker is quite pricey but you really get what you pay for and the quality is top notch. I'm sure it will last many many years and will definitely deal with Britannia again!

I Would Certainly Recommend Britannia To Anyone Th
I would certainly recommend Britannia to anyone thinking of purchasing one.
After owning a Britannia cooker for several years I CERTAINLY WOULDN'T recommend them. Both ovens had heating elements fail...and Britannia wanted to charge a small fortune to replace them. In my opinion a stylish cooker let down by some poor quality components. Fine for "poser" cooks who like to heat up expensive food items from M&S...otherwise look elsewhere!
