Have Tried To Make A Loaf In The Machine With Very
Have tried to make a loaf in the machine with very varied results and the same receipe. Got a new loaf tin which is 100 times better than the old one. We oil paddles and base of paddle they come out fine. However the loaf sinks at the top we think its to do with the insultation of the viewing window. It makes great dough but this defeats the object of owning a breadmaker. I could make dough in my magimix. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone unless you just want nice fresh dough to come down to in the morning.

Overall I Have Been Please With My Morphy Richards
Overall I have been please with my Morphy Richards breadmaker. Have not made much actual loaves of bread as I don't like the result very much but this is just a personal opinion. The problem I have had is after a while the paddles on the tin sieze up and rust. I have got through 2 of these now and they are not cheap to replace. I always clean my tin so it looks spotless but water must get down the paddle shaft and then rusts the metal pin that holds the paddle. I would look carefully next time at the paddle construction and anywhere where water could get in.

Wouldn't Have The 48265 Model Bread Maker From Mor
Wouldn't have the 48265 model bread maker from morphy richards again because the bread is so difficult to get out of the pan because it is not 'non-stick' enough.

I Have Used The Morphy Richards 48265 For 3 Years
I have used the Morphy Richards 48265 for 3 years now and never really got to grips with actually making a loaf. Dough - fine, for cooking in the oven, but bread, not so. The paddles leave enormous holes in the base of the loaf.
