Waste Of Money

The machine eats belts, i have never known a vacuum cleaner to go through so many.. and to change them is an absolute nightmare.. the whole cover has to come off, unlike most machines that just has a small simple cover..

I changed a belt, thought i had coaght something in the beater.. but nope, new belt lasted less than 5 mins, then in went another belt.. that lasted a few mins to, so off with the cover again... the belt had come off, so new belt on and that went in no time to.. the vacuum has now taken up a place in the garden awaiting the bin men..

what a load of rubbish... shame some manufactures only worry about cos. not quality...

Nearly Useless Product

bought this less than a year ago, and it's already broken (rotating brush is not spinning anymore, even though it's not stuck). As already mentioned in other articles here, it is useless on all hard floors while it's reasonably ok on carpets and quite good on brushing the dirt out of the carpet. Overall it's a design mistake, as you can't turn the spinning of the brush off and the air is blown to the front of the vax which means you never get to the dirt you wanted to suck in.

Also it's heavy and bulky and won't clean under your sofa's etc. as it's too high.

Bought it cheap but saved on the wrong end.

Makes A Lot Of Noise , Seems Good On Carpets But I

Makes a lot of noise , seems good on carpets but is useless on hard/laminate/wood floors as it just seems to blow all the dust around.

To be fair it is cheap but it seems you get what you pay for and i wouldn't buy another one.

Fantastic Machine, Brilliant Design, I Thought My

Fantastic machine, brilliant design, I thought my VX1 was wonderful but the VX2 is out of this world when it comes to ease of use and practicality. The flex is long... really long compared to a standard vac, along with the flexible hose with additional length for stairs built in so that it only extends when you want it! Then there is the crevice tool which is ever so slightly bent, what a difference that makes to cleaning the hard to reach corners, it may look nothing but when you use it what a difference that makes.

Finally the dirt bin and filters are sooo easy to empty, it is almost a joy to do housework. A great bit of kit!
