Vax U89-MAF-P Air Force Pet Vacuum

vax air force pet U89=MAF-P RUBBISH i have had better hoovers I bought this one as the reviews i found seem to rate it really high and on par with a dyson,but as the advert says if you want a dyson but a dyson!!!! This one looses it suction after the 1st hoover and to improve this you have to take the whole thing apart and clean and wash all the filters. This is supposed to be a hepa filter hoover so the idea is that it is a clean empty hoover as in it empties from the bottom which it does but to omprove the suction you then have to remove all the hair from the turbo above so end up releasing more dust than you contain. I also find the cable tidy is rubbish they are to close together so when you try to tidy up the cable often it unwinds at the same time the only plus is the cable is so long that you can hoover a large area without having to unplug it. The carpet height adjuster has to be used for the 1st hoover then due to the lack of power afterwards this doesnt need to happen. I havent experienced it becoming unbalanced while using the long flexible hose but thats not to say that it wouldnt if you moved it to far away from the hoover.

I dont know if all the other reviews are workers at vax???? because they dont seem to have the same problem with the filters blocking??? and they rate this hoover very highly maybe i am jsut unlucky? at he end of the day i am going to look for a new hoover tomorrow.

I would suggest if you want a pet hair hoover dont but this one there are others on the market that are much better and worthy of you parting with your hard earned cash.

The machine is very quick and easy to assemble - it must have been if I managed to do it! It is a fairly lightweight vacuum cleaner that is easy to manoeuvre and I particularly liked the extra long cord which enables you to vacuum several rooms without having to unplug the machine each time. The suction is excellent - far better than my current model - and my carpets looked like new after having used it a couple of times. Excellent at picking up animal and human hairs. The machine is easy and quick to empty and clean or rinse out - no fiddly parts. My only grumble is that it is quite noisy but for something so powerful I suppose that is to be expected but it isn't bad enough to put me off using it i.e. the positives far outweigh the negatives!

Would definitely recommend it.

I love this Vax - it copes brilliantly with my nine pet loads of hair which includes 2 aslaskan malamutes who 'blow' their coats leaving what resembles white tundra around the skirting boards on both hard and carpeted floors.

I particularly like the long stair reach as I have 3 floors and can position the Vax onthe middle floor and reach both sets of stairs without the need to move it. Also the long power cord stops me unplugging/plugging in when I move from room to room.

I didnt need the tools for the esges of the floors as it has good suction edged to egde but the crevice tool is brilliant for the sofas when the pets have sneaked up on them and rolled around.

I have 9 pets total - 2 of which are Alascan Malamutes who 'blow' their coats

(shed) in mass. I have always had 'tundra' in corners on wood floors and it seems to stick like glue to carpets...BUT not anymore.

this Vax performs well on wood and carpet alike. It has a great stair reach as I can not sit it on the middle floor and clean both sets of stairs up and down without moving it or unplugging it.

This is a must for anybody who wants good performance especially those with a multi pet household.

Oooo my goodness this is one of the best vacuum cleaners I ever bought in my whole life and I am almost thirty nine years, I am truly impressed by this vacuum, after owning this vacuum for a little less then one month. Out of everything I give it a four and a half star rate. The weight is just amazing it is really light. When I bought i thought it was just an empty box filled with paper and what not. The weight itself makes it the best vacuum cleaner ever. That is what makes it so easy and move it all around my house. The durability is also pretty good too I was pretty impressed. The style is not too bad, but I am sure it could be better than what it looks like. When I ordered it online the service was slow but it could be a lot better than what i got. The price was just a little bit more better than perfect i mean not too much not too little. I would surely recommend this to a friend.

This is a great vacuum cleaner, ideal for all pet owners.It is much lighter than previous vax. It is also slightly noisy but has great suction. Easy to empty and clean. Good cable length and nice looking, adjustable handle height. I do find the on/off switch to be on the wrong side. The cable tidy hooks are a bit close together, so makes it hard to wind cable round and to stay in place. The tools provided with vacuum cleaner are slightly flimsy.

This vacuum cleaner is a must for pet owners. It is very powerful 340 air watts and is excellent for removing pet hairs from carpets,cushion flooring and upholstery. The turbo brush supplied is great for stairs and for lifting pet hairs from small areas. The 10 metres cord is excellent for using around the house but I found that the hooks at the back were too far apart and did not fully secure the cord. It would have been better if this was a rewind function. Weight is approx. 7 kilos which I found manageable. This machine is not too noisy and an improvement on the one I bought last year Vax Power 6 Pet cleaner. The dust capacity is 3 litres and easy to remove and empty. The style is a bit clumsy and there isn't enough room on the back to store the spare tools. They fall off when the machine is in use as they are placed too near the cord hooks. The recline switch is on the front of the machine which I don't like as I found this awkward to use. this machine is excellent and value for money

This is a very powerful cleaner that has 240 watts of suction power that really cleans the carpets of pet hairs. The handle is adjustable which is a bonus. It has 2 filters and one is a hepa antibacterial one which is said to help reduce pet related odours and allergens. The weight is 7.80 kilos which I did not find heavy to use. It is not as noisy as the previous cleaner that I bought last year Vax Power 6 pet upright cleaner. This cleaner is more powerful and much more efficient. The dust capacity is 3 litres and this is easy to empty and connect up again. There is a 6 year guarantee which is excellent and the cleaner is in my opinion value for money. This machine comes with a turbo brush which is easy to fit and is very efficient on stairs. The upholstery and dusting brush are included and I found them easy to use and did the job well. The 10 metres cord is excellent but I found that it didn't fit properly into the back hooks which appear to be too far apart. It would have been better to have this fixed into the base of the machine with a wind up function. I had some difficulty adapting to the fact that the switch to recline the machine is on the front of the machine. I would have prefered this to be on the base at the back or on the side. The space to hold the 3 tools is in my opinion not suitable as they kept falling off when the machine was in use. The holder is too near the cord hooks. I would have preferred to use the telescopic extension tube rather than the hose on its own. However this is an additional accessory that does not come with the machine when you get it. The Hepa pre-motor filter can be washed but the post motor filter cannot be washed but is easy to clean.

This machine is easy to maintain and I found the instructions on the manual very easy to follow and instructive. The style appears to me to be clumsy and too many tools are expected to be fitted very near each other in the back of the machine.

Overall I'm very happy with this machine which is a big improvement on my previous one. I would recommend it to anyone who has difficulties with pet hairs.

The Vax Mach Air Force Pet is a great vacuum cleaner. It is the best Pet Vacuum cleaner I have ever had. I have a cat who seems to leave cat hairs everywhere she goes. This vacuum cleaner picks up the hairs so easily especially when I use the Turbo Tool. This tool is amazing and very useful. The vacuum is a great upright cleaner but the extension and tools are even better as you can get into every corner of the house and clean the hard to reach areas. The dusting attachment is great and this is such a simple solution to removing dust from anywhere. I love the design of the vacuum and love that it is very sturdy and strong. It is a very welcome new addition to our home. I highly recommend this vacuum especially if you have pets that leave hairs anywhere and everywhere.
