Vax U88-AMM-P Air3 Max Pet

I have a air 3 wishes max, pet unless its me its practically impossible to hoover a medium height carpet it like pushing a steamroller along,theres a red button to reset brush in my opinion does nothing,anyone else has this problem or can help,otherwise power excellent

Having read other reviews it is not just me that end up with aching wrist and arm when using it on carpets. Wish I had taken it back when I had the chance.

I ordered 2 vax from the website only one as arrived I call most days to see when it it going to be delivered they dont know I want a refund for the item I cant until it arrives could be weeks or months who know forgot to say the one that came was boken

Bought this to replace an older VAX Air force 2 which has been great but is now being used for car duties. The new one one is much lighter and easier to use round the house. The suction is unreal and we thought the old hoovers was good. The cable storage is better than the old vax too and it is also smaller and easier to store! Very happy indeed

My big problem with this vacuum is its so called cyclone action does not work.

Initially it has great suction,but after a couple uses, the post filter has become so blocked that you can no longer use the turbo brush. The only way to restore funtion is to wash out the filter and wait 24 hours for it to dry.I bought this machine for its pet cleaning and turbo brush funtion, so I am very disapointed.

The general build quality feels poor,clips that guide the hose aroud the machine are weak and snap off with ease,the tools have inferior feel about them.

I HATE THIS MACHINE.

Due to my medical condition I found it difficult using other upright vacuum cleaners so I always opted for the small pull along style before, due to their light weight and easy manoeuvrability. Upon selecting a replacement for my broken vacuum I came across the the Air3 Pet upright from Vax, it promised light weight, deep cleaning and twisting manoeuvrability which reduced allergens due to the antibacterial filter, which sounded great to combat my husbands dust allergies. The added bonus of which was that it promised to be great and pet hair which would help combat our dogs continued malting. Upon unpacking, the vacuum was easy to put together with a stylish look and no complicated assembly. The first use was like a breath of fresh air, the promised manoeuvrability meant I could twist into the hardest reach places in the room that other uprights I've owned have never been able to get to, which was also a relief on my back as I wasn't straining and struggling with the vacuum to get into these hard to reach places. It picks up even the most ground in animal hair from our carpet which our small hoover never had the power to pull up which means my husbands allergies have even settled down somewhat. The only small downside was the hose wasn't quite long enough to reach the top stairs but that was helped by the vacuum being so light I could lift it as I went up with no strain on my back.

Overall I have to say it is the best vacuum I have ever owned and I now find myself using it a lot more simply because of the ease of use.
