Vax Mach 3 Allergy

This has got to be the worst hoover I've ever used!! Every part of this hoover is of the cheapest quality,I have a cat and only have a carpet on my staircase and landing,every time I hoover I have to go on my hands and knees to get enough suction,all my other floors are tile and laminate the hose and fittings are constantly falling off or blocking,the tube for adjusting the height jammed in the first few weeks of use,I would advise to steer well clear of this product it's a definate NO NO!!!!

Absolutely rubbish! The materials used are not fit for purpose, the mechanical/ergonomic design is fundamentally flawed and, although it picks things up OK, the cyclone action jams up quickly and basically ... IT'S NASTY! My wife says it's the 'worst hoover she has ever owned' and she had a £60 Hitachi that lasted 6 years and always did what it needed to do well. It only ceased to work because her daft husband used it to hoover the car ... in the rain! OOPs! Don't buy this. I know Vax do other good products (we have a really good carpet cleaning/shampooing machine) ... but this isn't one of them.

I'm a product designer .. so I do know when a dud is a dud...

We had trouble within the first couple of weeks with this machine. First we replaced the brush, then we ordered 2 belts and only received one, bits have kept breaking off it such as the cheap plastic bits to hold the tools and tubes. It lost suction after about the first week and everything we have done to try and help it has made no difference. I have finally had enough of it now since the bottom of the cylinder dropped off this morning.
