Panasonic MC-UG302

I replaced my old but really good Panasonic vac for brand new one when I had new carpets. What a disaster. This new model vac blows out hot air so strongly it lifts lined curtains from a foot away and fills the air with a stale hot air smell. It is extremely hard to push on my pile carpet even though it is supposed to have automatic height adjustment. Feels like it is set on lowest level instead of highest and has made my right shoulder very painful. Retailer says it is normal!

Also my old Panasonic vac had a retractable power cable and the new one has not. The new one has very poor tools and the hose pulls the vac over as it is too light, so one has to hold the handle and try and use the tools with one hand.

Don't buy this vac!! Pity vacs cannot be tried on carpet before purchase.
