Oreck Graphite Upright

I bought my Oreck Graphite upright as I wanted a hoover that is light to handle when transporting from room to room. Although it does the job pending on the type of carpet, when against the pile it is rather a heavy process. My only main qualm is that the lead seems too long and I often get caught around my feet causing me to trip. It would a good idea if a model could be made with a retractable lead as this would prove less dangerous especially for women over 60 who may also have arthritic problems like myself.
