So Disappointed

My son bought me this.

I was excited to receive it. I may have a rogue one. Nothing seems to fit right. First time out the box I was impressed

The second session the little rubber strip underneath started to split. He went back to the shop they said they'd order a new strip. Apparently its only pence which they said they'd wait and add it to another order. They never have.Been back several times. No strip at all now. The roller fixing jams and is hard to reinsert after cleaning. The lid is difficult to put back on unless you are really strong. Can honestly say I hate this cleaner. Never again.

Loving My Harry Hound

My Harry has been a great addition. He's quiet and does the job only using the economy mode so far-I've not needed the faster speed.

He moves around easily behind me and the lead's plenty long enough for me to do my whole flat from one socket too. The charcoal filters work and leave no doggified smell behind as my old upright used to do. The bags are easily replaced.

The only difficulty I had was clipping his

Having Just About Had Enough Of My Dyson, I Purcha

having just about had enough of my dyson, i purchased this vacuum last week. with one very big hairy dog moulting all over the carpets there was always an annoying amount of hair left by the dyson but the wonderful henry hound sucked it all up in one fell swoop. i am more than impressed at how easily it demolished the many fine hairs my shaggy canine companion insists on dropping and im hoping that this will be the beginning of a long and happy friendship.

it certainly has cut my vacuuming time down to a fraction of the hours i used to spend with the dyson hoovering the same spot over and over again. i can now let my wee son play on the floor without the worry of what he is picking up and breathing in and i may even manage a spot of yoga on my lovely fluff free carpet now that i am not spending hours and hours vacuuming.

i would highly recommend.

We've got the Numatic Henry HHR200 Hound model, it is all over generally good. Flex doesn't come out easily gets stuck sometimes and when you go to pull it cleaner turns over on its side but apart from that its good and great on dog hairs!

Vacuum Cleaners In My House Rarely Last Longer Tha

Vacuum cleaners in my house rarely last longer than 2 years. If it's on the floor it gets sucked up, sometimes this has killed the machine, c'est la vie. Henry hound is now into his fourth year! I was initially reluctant to purchase a machine that in my opinion looks as if it was designed to appeal to men. I thought it was a bit gimmicky and probably wouldn't perform as well as promised by various male users. Boy, was I wrong! This machine takes all the vacuuming abuse I can throw at it. It hasn't let me down once. I've got a hairy dog (with four legs) and periodically have to unclip the rotating brush to remove the build up of dog hairs. On Henry, it's easy to remove and replace, no struggling with screwdrivers or bands. I have brought spare small brush heads, but he's never needed attention unlike previous cleaners. Henry is built to be easily serviced and repaired, a simple design that works.

The Numatic Henry Hhr200 Is A Fantastic Vacuum Cle

The Numatic Henry HHR200 is a fantastic vacuum cleaner. I was always skeptical of Henrys, thinking that they were just a gimmicky toy with a face. So I bought Hoovers, I bought Japanese thinking that they would be better. I bought cyclone, dual-cyclone, multi cyclone, hep filters, pet 'specials' , super high power and within minutes, without exception, they lost suction and most were indescribably unreliable. I then decided to give these Henrys a go and how I wish I'd done it years ago. I'm a naturally picky person and study review after review before buying any major appliance. If you're like that, then look no longer. This Henry vacuum is amazing, reliable, robust and so good at what they're supposed to do - pick up stuff!

I Am Surprised At How Little Dirt There Seems To B

I am surprised at how little dirt there seems to be in the HHR200 bag compared to my Dyson.

I wonder is that because it isn't as good at picking up the dirt or was the upright Dyson gobbling lots of carpet at the same time?

I wanted a bagless type cylinder but was convinced by a frined to go for a Henry Hound after I borrowed hers.

The icing on the cake is that I have found a company on the net that makes zipable, re-usable ,washable bags for Henry so I have sent for 2 of those.

I Have A Dog And Three Cats, So Lots Of Hair. With

I have a dog and three cats, so lots of hair. With my now Numatic Henry, no more smell of dog when I hoover. I used my old two vacuum cleaner for 40 years (YES, 40 years old and still working fine) and I felt it was time for a change. I wanted a hoover which had the suction of my cylinder cleaner and the rotating brush of my upright in one. I had positive feedback from friends about the ordinary Henry and went for the Hound with the electric brush. When it arrived, my first disappointment was the box had split open and Parcel Force had wrapped a plastic bag around it to keep everything inside. Nothing got lost but one of the tubes had a severe dent. My second disappointment was that the handle is made from plastic which is too weak to keep the tube ridged when working with the suction on full. I got a feeling of using a cheap bendy plastic tube, the kind you get with very cheap vacuum cleaner. These are my only negative points about the Henry Hound.

On the positive side, I got a vacuum cleaner which cleans equal (but not better) to my old Constallation and Junior in one set. Because I now have only one hoover, I don't mind that it is a bit bigger than average. I find operation is very easy and noise is low. To empty the bag is also very easy. The cable has to be wound back manually (I expected a spring rewind) but it is easy enough and no hassle. The cable itself is very long with 15m which give a 30m (90 feet)working radius. The hose could have been a bit longer, it does not quite reach to top stairs, so I build myself a little hose extension out of an old hoover hose and this works fine.

One quick comment on Numatics customer service. I bought my hoover from Amazon.co.uk and because one of tubes got damaged I wanted it changed. Unfortunately, Amazon does not offer a facility for exchange of parts, I would have to return the complete cleaner for an exchange. This would have ment to wait another 3-4 weeks. So I rang Numatic direct and explained my situation and asked if I could buy the damaged tube from them. To my surprise, the friendly Numatic lady offered to send the tube to me without charge. Now, this I call an excellent customer service. This alone must qualify for 10 stars.
