Hoover Pure Power, Sealed Suction, 7 Stage Fi

Hoover

Pure Power, Sealed Suction, 7 stage filtration, 1900w.

Product review

Let's start with a broad brush account and then fill in the detail.

This is the WORST PRODUCT I have ever bought.

The nice man in Comet Kendal who advised me that the best vacuum was the one that sucked hardest was clueless. Unless of course he meant 'sucked' as an American teenager might mean 'sucked' in which case he was one step ahead of me and operating on a plane of irony that in retrospect I can respect. A plane of irony that would no doubt have them laughing in the backroom along the lines of: 'Ha Ha these idiots giving us their money in exchange for this heap of ****', 'we will probably get away with it because they will use it before it can be returned and in any case will they bother to do the 50 mile trip at their expense to do it?'

1. Quality control. When purchased it had been assembled with an incorrect part meaning that the selection of height settings from luxury (shagpile) to short carpet didn't and couldn't work ever. I have reshaped it meaning that my (ha ha) 'warranty' is void.

2. Suction power. Yes is sucks hard so hard it fills each of its seven filters with gunk quickly leading to overheating and switch off after 5 minutes. As I write this my two year old product is sitting there laughing at me with its motor burned out. It has never, never, managed to vacum a whole room without the thermostat switching it off... ever.

3. Stability. Again engineered with by a designer with a sense of transgressive irony. It's not stable. It will appear to be standing up but if touched will overbalance and fall over. I think you will agree that this is a must for everyone with a glass top coffee table just begging to be shattered or if you are really lucky, is in such a position that it collapses on the bridge of your foot. If this has happened you will find that the flex coil holder is designed to penetrate flesh to a depth of one centimetre in its unbroken state. Once broken it can do much better than this. This should be a consideration for anyone not feeling it appropriate to hoover using steel toe capped boots.

4. Peripherals. These cannot be had other than over the internet at eye watering prices.

To sum up. It is probably some kind of environmental crime that the earth's resources have been exploited to manufacture such a worthless piece of junk. Don't buy it.

Went For A Hoover Because It's A Recognised Name A

Went for a Hoover because it's a recognised name and the 1900W is not the cheapest vacuum on the market... but I'd have been better off buying a dustpan and brush (which I did, actually). Within weeks the suctions was deteriorating. Within a month or so both wheels had fallen off and I had to botch them back on. The filters are forever clogged. It's never been good on hard floors (despite having a hard floor setting)... it simply kicks out the dust and bits from the back and blows it everywhere. Trying to clean the inside of the car with it is a nightmare - no suction and the machine keeps falling over as it is very unstable. Now it makes a dreadful whining noise and is heading for the tip.

It's poorly designed, badly built, unpleasant to use and just doesn't do what it's supposed to do. A waste of £100.

This 1900w Promised A Lot And Failed To Deliver On

This 1900W promised a lot and failed to deliver on nearly all of its promises. The design flay within the dirt collection point having left the hose means that it clogs quickly and then backs up the hose with the result that the motor overheats and cuts out. The design for the tools at first impressions appears good but whilst in motion the little faults come into play making cleaning difficult. On a kitchen floor it has a good suck and removes the standard dirt with little problem but anywhere else in the house it proves to be an over expensive toy that only looks good when left in the cupboard....

When New, It Cleans Quite Well. It Is Cheap Too,

When new, it cleans quite well. It is cheap too, but not in the long term. There are lots of filters to rinse on a very frequent basis. Once you rinse the top filter, it never dries out properly, with the result that the hoover starts to smell appallingly. The replacement filters are expensive. The customer helpline is useless: spoke to 5 different people, was cut off, and they were unfamiliar with the model, anyway. Poor show Hoover.

My Hoover Tc3910001 1900w Vacuum Cleaner Was Purch

My Hoover TC3910001 1900W vacuum cleaner was purchased without sight of the tools (the store kept them in sealed boxes to avoid theft). On using the floor tool, I found that it either stuck against the pile of the carpet or glided across and picked nothing up. The tube length was not adjustable, and it was very difficult to get the correct angle for comfortable use. The hose also had a tendency to kink, and the body of the machine did not move easily with use. The plug and cord retraction was aggressive, and could possibly cause injury if a small child or animal was in its path. Completely useless and a total waste of money.

L Kirby........I see your Hoover costs £80~100 depending on supplier. I don't know your machine but I do know the Henry which is in the same price range and is a REAL vacuum cleaner with tools that WORK!

And it's as tough as old boots.
