Electrolux Z2957AZ Loopie Pet Lover (Upright)

We bought this to clean up after our house rabbit, and after just two years can't stand it any more (and I don't mean the rabbit).

It won't work as a upright Hoover because the suction just isn't strong enough to pick up hair, and as someone else mentioned- the hose detatches itself all the time. That means going over the carpets with the attachments- a lot like trying to mow a lawn with a pair of scissors.

The dust container is tiny and needs emptying everytime we use it. The roller attachment is siezed up. It's noisy.

The only good thing is it's easy to take appart, which means that everytime stuff gets wedged you can shift it. Oh, and it's green. Don't buy a hoover on the basis you like the colour!

Have 2 long haired dogs and even though I've had the loopie a while now it is still working well and picks up the hair brilliantly (cream carpet as well!). Had a cleaner come in with a Henry hoover and I had to go over the carpet with the loopie afterwards to pick the remaining hair up!

Filter does need to be washed out every so often, but 2 are supplied so one can dry while the others in use and it's a 2 minute job. I haven't needed to replace anything yet. I think any vacuum cleaner needs maintenance to keep it going so don't find the loopie's excessive.

All in all a good hoover for the price!

This vacuum cleaner is shocking. I need to unclog ALL serviceable parts several times during the cleaning of just one room. It has hardly any suction and is so noisy I wear earplugs when using it. The dog hair remains on the floor even when the vacuum has had several chances to pick it up. The stair tool doesn't work and the motor keeps overheating. When it is in use, the nozzle on the hose comes away from it's holder and has to be pushed back in every few minutes. I'm sorry I ever bought it.

I wouldn ' t recommend this Electrolux Z2957AZ Loopie Pet Lover to anyone.
