We Have Owned Our Dyson For Around Two Years But I
We have owned our Dyson for around two years but I have been very disappointed with it. The main problem being the poor suction. It hasn't cleaned my carpet well for ages. Seems like it is blocked all the time but isn't! I liked the fact that it was bagless but pointless when it doesn't have decent suction.
Today I have been out and bought a Sebo and what a difference, even though it has a bag!
No more Dyson vacs for me. I think they are very over rated.
this hoover... sucks! lol I have to agree

I Was Shocked To Read A Bad Review On The Dc05. I
I was shocked to read a bad review on the DC05. I've had mine for nearly 10 years and think its great value for money considering how long I've owned it and the many times I've used it as I have 2 cats and a dog and 2 kids!! The only problem I've had is with the extension tube but I'm only just replacing that 10 yrs later!

There Are Many Cheaper Cyclonic, Bagless Cleaners
There are many cheaper cyclonic, bagless cleaners in the market which are better made. A Dyson is all hype and disappointment.

The Dyson Dc05 Cylinder Is An Absolute Waste Of Mo
The Dyson DC05 Cylinder is an absolute waste of money. All accessory parts broke just after owning it for 1 year so no guarantee cover which is also when the suction reduced. Irritating as it cost nearly £200. No more Dysons for me!
I totally agree with all comments. Every crummy plastic catch on my DC05 unit detatched itself from the metal parts over a period of 2 years. If the small parts like catches, tools and hoses were easily available from the retailers it wouldn't be so bad, but it seems to be a laborious process trying to source any parts - The design may be great but the use of materials and concept for fitting the elements together is bargain basement.

I Bought The Dyson Dc05 Vacuum Cleaner After My Bo
I bought the Dyson DC05 vacuum cleaner after my Bosch was stolen. I bought the Dyson because of all the flash ads.
I had the DC05 for 4 weeks with regular once a week household usage, and the connector pipe began to crack. I took it back to the store, but I had to wait 3 weeks for the spare part to arrive. By this time I was fed up with it and I gave it to the charity shop, and bought myself a Bosch.

This Dyson Dc05 Cylinder Model Has Been Very Disap
This Dyson DC05 Cylinder model has been very disappointing. Suction is very poor so does not clean thoroughly. Also pipe attachments have broken with wheels etc falling off with no excessive usage.

For its price the Dyson DC05 Cylinder is nothing special. We bought it because it is bagless but so are many cheaper models.

The Dyson Dc05 Cylinder Is Poor Vacumming In Pract
The Dyson DC05 Cylinder is poor vacumming in practical applications (compare it with other good quality cleaners). Two serious problems with the on/off switch and the cable. The first one was repaired two years ago. We have no thrown out the unit and it will not be replaced by a Dyson.
