Its Better Than What People Are Making It Sound To Be

i have had my dc01 for at least 8 years and that is impressive for a vacuum that is used twice a week for a long period of time. sure it has its ups and downs but most vacuums have ups and downs you arnt going to find a vacuum that hast got ups and downs. you are all forgetting that this vacuum was their 4th ever made vacuum and it was from this Dyson now that they are making what they are now their amazing ball vacuums.

ours gets half full by vacuuming the house once that got to mean that the vacuum is working and doing its job..cleaning the house. you can hear that its working because you can hear dirt being sucked up and it spinning around in its nice bagless design. the best part is it can groom the carpet not to much or to little but just right. as this vacuum is old now i would advise you get a newer vacuum like the ball or the dc33 as they contain a better design and lots more power than these vacuums but these vacuums work out great as a starter vacuum or some one who has owned it since new.

Whats Up With All The Bad Reviews I Have Had My Dc

whats up with all the bad reviews i have had my dc04 for atleast 9 years and it has surved me well and it is still working on this very day. the dc04 replaced my old dc01 and i have to say dyson make the best vacuum to my liking. the dyson dc04 has a big bagless bin so no buying bags or worrying about the bags going BOOM like my henry. the dyson dc04 is made out of tought plastic and the parts are cheap to replace the belt lasts a long time and so dose the brush bar the wand is also the vacuum handle and to use it you clip it out and put a tool on to and presto you are good to go their are 3 tools and you can take of the wand and use the tools on just the hose 1 crevice tool that fits into the cracks in sofas and those trickey corners and the car 1 stair tool that works on the bed and the stairs and chairs car dog bed and much more 1 duster tool that works well on tables and curtans. their is a long cord a clear bin so you can see how full it is and the vacuum is awsome and it is one of the 5 dule cyclone vacuums.

It's The Only Cleaner That I Have Owned That, I Be

It's the only cleaner that I have owned that, I believe was definately NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. I now understand why it was manufactured abroad, obviously to make as cheaply as possible. Would not recommend to my worst enemy!

I Bought The Dc04 After My Dc01 Had A Nasty Accide

I bought the DC04 after my DC01 had a nasty accident and died. Big mistake! To start with, everything worked fine and the suction was great, but within weeks I was having problems. The first thing to go was the hose. If the hose blocks it is very difficult to get at the blockage because of the way that the hoover is designed. I will also add that I work as a domestic cleaner and 5 of my clients own the same hoover. Apart from the newest one, they all have the same problem of loss of suction. Even the simplest repair i.e. a blown fuse, cannot be done by myself, due to the patented plug. I think that too much emphasis has been put on the look and extra features that this vacuum has, and not enough has gone on the really important things, like durability. I would not recommend anyone to buy one of these vacuum cleaners. Save yourself £150 and buy yourself a Henry Hoover.

The Hose On My Dyson Dc04 Silver Lime Upright Vacu

The hose on my Dyson DC04 Silver Lime Upright vacuum cleaner broke. It squealed regularly. It often would not pick up due to multiple blockages, and the filters regularly needed cleaning. It was ultimately the biggest waste of money I ever spent. I also took out the 3 year warranty which was £50, and I decided after a few days it would be best to get my money back on this after 3 years and scrap the cleaner, rather than use this warranty to fix it. Production has now moved to the Far East! So much for supporting British products... They're rubbish... look at Rover!

The Dyson Dc04 Is Absolutely Useless As An Upright

The Dyson DC04 is absolutely useless as an upright. Despite new brush head and underpipe it just doesnt pick up the simplest things. You can run it over say a caepet and it picks up maybe 30% after many passes. Will collect pet hair if you keep the machine upright. The problem appear in the design whereby the brush head is not in contact with the surface once you bend the handle back to push. Strap a weight to the head with duct tape and it works!!Design fault in my opinion.
