Domotec Steam Mop DSC20

I have had my DSC20 steam mop for 11 years and it is brilliant.

Managed to find some new towelling mop cover a couple of years ago.

I am having trouble finding a new bottle and filter they need replacing.

Got a feeling its not made anymore.

Really like my mop and would be disappointed if I can't get replacement parts.

My sister bought this unit and recommended it to me, I have had it a few weeks and it really does make a difference, very easy to use and is ready to go in a matter of minutes, the cleaning pads are great as they can be put in the washing machine so less waste, I actually enjoy cleaning now as I jnow I am not using so many chemicals.

Got this cause i've got 2 young kids and new puppy and thought it would be easier and more hygienic than an mop and bucket. And it was... absolutely fab. So easy to put together, store and fill etc etc, i was smitten. But one day I went to use it and there was no steam. Got it in August and this was october, only 3 months old and it was defunct. Its still under warranty and have found a service centre to look at it but unfortunatly their courier service doesnt seem to want to pick it up anythime soon. So all in all not impressed with the product. When it works its fab but i expect to get a lot more use out of a product than i have with this.

This is a must have if you have tiled and/ or laminate flooring plus have children and/ or pets and find yourself having to wash floors regularly. I feel so much more relaxed about keeping the house clean because - even if dressed in my best - I don't have to get down on my knees to clean - I use my steam mop. It stores away without needing much space in the under-stair cupboard. When using I recommend having the extractor fan on or a window open because there will be some steam build-up - the neighbours may become curios by your fogged-up windows!
