Recently just got the bike (one for me and the step-through for my wife); Ordered a 2017 Crossroads, but instead was given 2016 models. 2017 are listed to come with presta valves, and 2016 are with schrader valves. No biggie on the valves, bike shop I got it from is a "no return" policy. Front derailleur wasn't tuned properly (another no biggie).
Top tube is pretty high up, if you are on the low end of their recommended size based on your height, expect to feel that top tube touching more than just your leg.
Wife's rear brake felt stiff, her hand was cramping just trying to squeeze the brake lever. Inspected the rear brakes; cable housing going to noodle was under a lot of bent stress due to placement of cable holders on the step through frame. Removed the rear brake frame bolt, and out came the adapter frame bolt with it, and I find rust in it. Rust isn't something you would expect from a "new" bike. Bike needs to be quality checked from factory first, as well as bolts torqued properly (instead of over-torqued), and have their parts checked for rust.

makes it sound as if the seller was buying old stock from some source
