Booked a weeks stay at this hotel, on an all inclusive basis. Reviews looked very good and were expecting a nice hotel. This is in no way a five star hotel, more a 3 star, 4 at the most. The staff even say that is it not a five star hotel, so why is it advertised as one?! Positives: Nice pool areas, two heated pools and another 2 unheated Staff mostly friendly - cleaner was excepional Friendly and helpful bar staff, always keep area clean Negatives Food boring, same dishes each day. The evening dishes are then reheated for lunch the next day Lots of Russian guests, who are very rude Strong smell of sewage throughout hotel Some of the reception staff are rude Room looks 'tired' and bathroom in particular could do with upgrading - grouting was coming off the wall, and the sink had holes in it, which had been filled several times Entertainment is lacking, same every night Hotel has no atmosphere Promo rooms all overlook the Mall and can be very noisy Area around the hotel is rundown You get what you pay for - so the more you tip, the better service you get from staff, which does not seem very fair Overall, would not recommend. There are much nicer hotels in the area to choose from.
