Good hotel food, room ,views good.Unfortunately groups of men and women arrive at weekends, their behaviour was very bad, drunk, bad language, and no concern for other guests.Great hotel, but stop booking in large parties.

I And Fianc Stayed At Club Santa Ponsa On 10th Ap
I and Fianc stayed at club Santa ponsa on 10th April 2005 for 4 days all inclusive.
We got a very good deal late so we did not expect the Ritz! The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were very helpful and polite.
The main problems were the food was varied and a good choice catering for the many nationalities that were there but it was always COLD! it was buffet style but it was still always cold.
The entertainment was dire and even though they did try hard it was not up to much.
My main gripe was the fact that when we were there at the same time as 40 French students who did over power the rest of the hotel at times. Overall I would say the Club Santa Ponsa is nice and may be even better in high season but it did have its flaws 3 out of 5.
My husband and I were relocated to this 'hotel' as the one we had booked suddenly closed. We were assured this hotel was better. As it was Christmas week in the UK, we wanted something a little special but this was just run of the mill.
The food was cold. Buffet style but diabolically cold. Fortunately we were only booked in for Breakfast. If we had paid for an all inclusive ticket, as some people did, we would have been terribly upset. I am a vegetarian and as it was Christmas day, we decided to eat in the hotel on the evening. However, the closest the chef could come up with for vegetarians was a plate of cheese on a bed of sliced meat! We ate out every night.
The room was clean, warm and comfortable. Two single beds and a bed settee. The ensuite was clean with plenty of towels.
The cleaning staff came in five days a week to make the beds and change the towels.
There was also a television in the room but it was tuned in for German visitors only, which was rather disappointing.
Given the choice, I would not go back to this hotel, simply for the fact that the restaurant and its staff are too much to bear. Cold scrambled eggs for breakfast still make me shudder at the thought. And trying to make the staff understand was ridiculous - they have obviously had these problems before but choose not to understand to avoid confrontation. Even the waiter walked away when asked something!
The hotel provided entertainment in the main bar for some of the nights. Please beware of the Parrot Show: we entered the room towards the end of the show. As the curtain came down, the staff picked up a couple of parrots, stuck them on my husband's shoulder, took photograph of him and before he could even say "Pretty Polly", they had whisked the birds away and another person was demanding 10 Euro for the privilege! It all happened so fast and was a despicable way to extract money from the tourists. With their menacing ways, it was impossible to refuse payment. Please be aware of this. Also, the photo came back and was mostly table and very little parrot! David Bailey has nothing to worry about here!
