We had booked to stay in this hotel for two nights and ended up extending our booking for 7 nights! The proprietors are a delightful couple who are are very attentive to your every need. The hotel is meticulously clean, has lots of character and has a very relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a room upstairs at the rear which was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and, whilst the room was not particularly large, it was perfectly spacious enough for the time we spent in it and the en suite was a good size. Breakfast offered a good selection of food and the coffee was very good. After eating out in nearby Tangines the first night, we ate in the hotel restaurant the next night and wished we had known how good the food was going to be when we arrived, as we would not have gone out to Tangines! We ate in every night after that and had the set three course meal which was delicious with a different menu every night and very reasonable. The view from the dining room towards the mountains provided a beautiful backdrop too. The proprietors were extremely friendly and anxious to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They imparted lots of information about their region and, through them, we visited places we would not otherwise have known about. Their hotel is ideally situated for varied days out, including Les Gets, Morzine, other ski resorts and Lake Geneva. It is a wonderful walking region too (we were there in June). We had a hire car and there is ample parking space at the hotel. All in all, we felt fortunate to have found this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it.
