i have had them for the past many years, but since august, things don't seem to be in order for this site. earlier today, i tried a few times, but it keeps beeping and later says network error

It breaks my heart that after years of no problems and great connections, it seems to have taken a nosedive. It commonly cannot make a connection and when it finally does it is poor, you or the other party cannot hear and it has to be disconnected. Really sad they have let a great service tank like that.

I have no idea why. Now we have to go find something else. We can hardly spend our balance down to zero as we can hardly ever get through to spend it. If you want to try it, do not put much money down. You may not ever get it back or be able to use it.

We thought things might be deteriorating when they started being weird by having a recording tell you your balance was low and to add more money to your account when there was still plenty to make calls with. The last act of desperation apparently.

In the past two months there was a problem with the access number. I was instructed (by e-mail) to use their 800 number (a bit more expensive) and they would credit my account. Then I got a new access number, but the pinless dial feature was gone. I have written 3 e-mails asking to have the problem solved, but nothing has happened.

Last weekend I tried to call Peru and kept getting the message "..the number has been disconnected" after an unusual number of clicks. I tried again this weekend and the problem persists. I have e-mailed the company but I have yet to hear from them.

For the last MONTH I'm trying to call MY FAMILY OUT OF THE COUNTRY. When I dial the number I get the following response :"I am sorry we are unable to place your call at this time." I know that the number I'm dialling is ok.

I sent an e-mail A MONTH AGO .i HAD RECEIVED 2 or 3 emails asking what was the problem ,I explained them 2-3 times but no fix as of today.And the best part : there is no phone number to contact them.

I ask for my money back today ...I will see if I get lucky

I have had talkloop for 3 or 4 years and you cannot beat its price and efficiency of service for international calling. There is no sales hoopla, it is plain and simple to use. I have gotten the "lines are busy" message occasionally, but I have gotten through a few moments later.

I have been using talkloop since it started and I am very happy with the service provided by talkloop. The rates are good, and the quality of the calls is decent. They dont have a phone number to call to in case of a problem, but they promptly respond by email and resolve the issue. I would recommend everyone to try their services.

TalkLoop's rates are low, and there are no hidden fees other than a 75 cent charge if you call from a pay phone. I have used TalkLoop as my long distance service for five years. I really like that there aren't any weird fees tacked on--I use the phone a lot and this has turned out to be a pretty good deal.

I would like to give a better point rating, except my biggest complaint is that the connection quality is often not very good, or will deteriorate during a call. When I can't understand what my boyfriend is saying on the phone, I'll say, "Wait, you're getting all TalkLoopy!" Sometimes I will call someone and they will tell me that I sound like a garbled mess due to Talkloop. However, most of the time the connection is decent--not great, but okay, and I'm cheap (and don't get cell phone service where I live), so I've stuck with TalkLoop. Sigh.

Right now I am having a problem. For the last 2 days I'm trying to call Germany. When I dial the number I get the following response :"I am sorry we are unable to place your call at this time." I know that the number I'm dialling is legitimate. I sent an e-mail yesterday and one today asking for an explanation, but no response as of yet.I can find no phone number to contact them.

The present time service at Talk Loop is so terrible most calls have to be terminated due to VERY poor connections. I have been trying for 6 months to get the problem corrected. 30 days ago I requested my remaining money refunded. They have yet to answer my email and have NO telephone number that I can find to contact them.

Absolutely reasonable long distance tele service, suggest you post an obvious procedure for Talk Loop renewal - The only bad point for me was the renewal procedure not obvious - too much BS on the home page. Apart from this I well recommend www.TalkLoop.com.
