Recently, Big Zoo's 1-888 Number Is Now Always A B
Recently, Big Zoo's 1-888 number is now always a busy tone. It's website is shut down. It got redirected to another website. I still have around $20 in my BigZoo account but have no way to make the call or claim my unsued money back. It has a 6-month policy that the money will be expired if it's not used within 6 months. No customer service number at all. Feel being scanned. Very bad company.

Soon after getting the notice of their planned suspension of services, I tried calling BigZoo.com on their toll-free tel. # with questions and comments before their toll-free number was disconnected. All I got when I called was a ring and no answer. I wanted to confirm everything and to tell them that the expiration date on my Visa cash and debit ATM card just changed and that I'd need to reapply for my refund so that I'd get it. Their website would not allow me to reapply on it for a refund so that I'd be able to update the new expiration date on my card and get my refund.
Why did BigZoo.com make contact with them so difficult before they shut down?
Should I call the Better Business Bureau or should I try calling the State's Attorney's Office in their home state? What is their home state?

Whenever I did use BigZoo.com while they were still in full business, if I'd get put on hold by the people at the tel. # that I was calling or if I'd get transferred by the people to another extension, I'd be automatically disconnected from the call. I'd call back and try it again. Everytime, the same disappointment happened. It sucked. This never happened when I used other calling cards. This one problem of BigZoo's was never corrected despite my numerous requests that it be corrected when I called in on BigZoo's toll-free tel. # to talk to the clerks or assistants who took calls for customer service. Various times I requested that they find someone to fix their calling card system so that it would work like all the other calling cards and then their customers would not get disconnected everytime that we'd be put on hold or transferred to another extension at the telephone numbers that we tried calling.
I never got that warning or any email from them. I think they just kept the bad news in low profile in order not to refund the money they owe me. They should have refunded the remaining money to us automatically, not waiting for us to apply for refund. Very bad company indeed.
They went out of business. They posted a two month warning telling you to file for a refund by january 31 2005.

Big Zoo Was Easy To Use. I Liked The Fact They Use
Big Zoo was easy to use. I liked the fact they used your own phone number as part of your pin number. Always had clean service to foreign countries. Their web site was easy to navigate.
I will miss BIG ZOO !! Do not try to use a company by the name of "Connectto.com" Bad web page, connections are not clear (echoy) and you don't always get the number you dialed.

I Echo The Lament Of The Soon-to-be Late, Great. B
I echo the lament of the soon-to-be late, great. BigZoo. We used it for 5 1/2 years without a single problem. Well, one problem - finding a company as good and as well priced as BigZoo!
