Horrible Customer Service, And Dishonest Company, Avoid
I charged £30 pounds, and hardly used it, and last week when I need to use it, I was told there is no credit left without any sort of warning!! I called the customer service, and the guy I talked to insisted that the terms and conditions said the SIM card requires you to top up at least £30 every three months, otherwise they reset the credit to 0, and refused to give any sort of refund. The worst of all is he was one of the rudest customer advisor I've ever came across and I had to hang up the phone was I was really upset!
I went to their website afterwards, and after searching for ages, I found the terms and conditions. In the terms and condition, it states "The network will send you an email and text message notification one week in advance of your Service becoming inactive (3 months after last use)". I haven't received such notice at all.
In addition, this was not made clear when I bought the card early last year, or when I topped up the phone, otherwise, there is no way I would have bought this at the first place as I don't travel that often. At the time, the only thing I've made aware of was to make sure using the phone within 6 month, otherwise the SIM would be expired.
Very dishonest company, making money by tricking people using hidden rules. Overall, including the card purchase fee and the expired credit, I lost nearly £50 without even using their SIM card. Avoid at all cost.
