Carphone Warehouse: Fresh

I would go back for another year or two with these guys. They provide a good service.

My husband had an O2 contract with carphone warehouse for a few years. Service was average!! About 4 years ago he cancelled his contract & went direct to O2. Over the last few years he has recieved postal correspondance & phone calls on an occational basis, BUT in the past 4/5 months he has been harrased beyond belief. Every day he can expect 5 or 6 phone calls a day from this company. As my husband is self employed , he always answers his phone in case it is work related., but there is almost never anybody on the other end. On the few occasions when there has been, they have said his details will be removed from their system. BUT THE PHONE CALLS CONTINUE. When we have tried to contact carphone watehouse it has always been an impossible task. So the 6 phone calls a day continue, with each call raising my hubbys blood pressure by a few points every time. They seem determined to regain his business & refuse to accept no as an answer. Well we will spell it out for you mr carphone warehouse ............. You are a dreadful company, who use harrasment tactics to gain business, but must give u 10/10 for your persistence. After this experience, we would never ever consider returning to carphone warehouse, even if they were the last mobile phone retailer in the universe. So, the final piece of advice to potential carphone warhouse customers is, if your happy to be bombarded with silent phone calls for the rest of your life, & your happy to have your requests to have your details removed from their system ignored, then disregard this review but remember, even if your cancel your contract, they will still keep your details & your nightmare will never end!!!!

carphone Load of cowboys deny everything make up terms as they go along and invent all sorts of reasons why they will not honour a legitimate claim absolute Rubish insurance do not buy, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! they are in breach of contract with me and are refusing to honour the contract inspite of having received premiums for a number of years, a total waste of money-- will be contacting Trading StandardS. If I had known then what I know now I would not have touched this company with a barge pole - its all upfront with no substance they promise the earth by try to claim then they deny everything no better that back street dell boty traders. The customer support is very bad. I had a mobile, and I took out a Talk Talk landline and broadband. If the service works then fine, but if you ever have to speak to anyone at Carphone Warehouse: Fresh then it is awful.

I have spent DAYS of my life on hold, then getting cut off or passed from person to person from the UK to India to Ghana or wherever else they are based, with varying low levels of spoken English. None of the or systems are connected, so you have to continually give your details over and over to various agents, and even then it is unlikely they will be able to help or resolve a problem.

They have got the cheapest deal on the market. However, there are hidden charges, expensive and poor customer service. For a contract mobile customer it's really hard to know the daily usage, as Fresh do not update the website regularly. For some unknown reason they like to bill themselves for phone usage, and when you contact the network they simply refuse to help, and they ask the customer to contact Carphone Warehouse, which is only open until 8pm.

The Fresh mobile phone service from Carphone Warehouse is cheap to use at 15p per call anytime, and the cheapest texts at 5p, BUT the after sales service, especially when it comes to communication with the company and the punters!!

Also, there are no more text warnings when one is getting low on pre-pay credit, like they used to do in the first three months of joining them???!!!
