O2 Simplicity

I got the O2 priorty moments app. the whole thing was a let down. expired offers. deals hundreds of miles away which expire before they can be used. what a joke.

I got a contract phone from O2 and 6 months in I lost my phone and requested a new sim card. 2 months and about a dozen calls later I still had no sim card. Every time I ordered one the O2 system kept cancelling the order. 12 times I reordered the sim card and still nothing. Eventually I gave up, I ordered the sim card but told them I was cancelling my DD payments and would only restart them when I received a SIM card. Despite being told by the "manager" that he would personally email me to check that I had received the sim card, I did not receive the sim card or the email. No further contact from O2 until 9 months later when they sent me a letter stating that the account was overdue and would be disconnected if not paid. It took a 20 minute call and the threat of referring to OFTEL to get them to remove the charge from the account. I have been an O2 contract customer for 12 years - but never again!

I used this tariff when I knew I was going traveling and wouldn't need my phone and my contract finished a few months before I left.

It was no trouble to change to and I still would be able to upgrade when ever I wanted to. It was only £16 a month even with my iPhone. All in all a good deal.
