O2 Behaved Disgracefully Towards The End Of My Contract
THe service provider was decent, connectivity was fine, and I would not complain and actually recommend the service provider. However, the events which occurred towards the end of my contract period were outright disgraceful.
I initially asked for my phone to be unlocked on the 30th of June, when I also cancelled my contract (18month contract). I was told this will be done within 7-10 days and I ll receive a message with instructions either via SMS or e-mail.
As this did not happen I contacted o2 again towards the end of the following month - where they informed me that some problems occurred, they needed me to confirm my IMEI number which I did - and then the o2 GURU told me that I provided them with a wrong number and it's my fault and shouted at me (the customer). However, I did not get asked for an IMEI number when I originally asked for the phone to be unlocked.
Now I continue to struggle with o2 (15th of August), and I have lost any hope of this being resolved. I think o2 is a graceful firm, with absolutely awful customer care employees and solely for this reason I would disencourage anyone to use the service!
