T-Mobile USB Modem Stick

Very poor reception although the info in the store said it would be excellent ! The staff at the T Mobile store just want to sell you something.. compared with vodafone mobile broadband this is useless.

I have now tried using this USB stick for a year, fortunately I also have a Vodafone one as the T Mobile cannot be relied on. also tried to use it in France and the additional cost was horrific.

This is such a waste! the connection is weak and even to load up the BBC website can take ages if your in an area where the signal is weak/medium.

T-mobile have a fair usage policy which is a bit of a scam. This basically means if you go past your fair usage policy you cant view any videos on youtube/bbc after 4pm upto 12am.

It's my first time to use a USB stick 3G modem so I have no way of comparing it to others.

Well, the connection is good and I never had any disconnection so far. Speed is about average and enough that Youtube will play continously without having to buffer.

At the end of the day, this USB stick modem will get me internet access for those areas without fere wifis. I think in some occassions, if you don't have internet in your area then this is a good alternative.

Absolutely terrible. Internet connection only lasts a couple of minutes before crashing. Slowler than dail up. Argos won't return my money! T mobile say 3G is in my area which is false information.

Ok, I excitedly just installed the 3G T mobile wireless USB stick. I am happy with it's performance, and the speed of my connection. Fast connection. Easy set-up. Cute, sleek design. Literally it has taken me two hours to discover one big design flaw. My laptop has both USB ports next to one another, and I cannot insert a second USB because the T Mobile stick is too wide. Now, I need internet access to itunes and I need my ipod connected while i'm on itunes. However I now realize I will not be able to do this with T Mobile's wireless stick in place.

I have only had it one day so far, but the T Mobile USB Modem Stick gets so blooooooomin hot then cuts off the connection itself...GRrrrrrrr
