After coming across the website we decided to make contact with MJW Energy Solutions.

Our initial phone call was answered by an answering machine to which we left my details. The call was returned within an hour and an appointment was made for the next day.

Martin arrived on time, and did an assessment of our property as agreed and reviewed our bills. We then had a very informative discussion about the benefits of solar energy, a heating system and switching utility suppliers.

In the end, we decided to get a quote for a solar energy system. The quote arrived in the post a couple of days later with full explanation of the benefits. The only issue we had was that the full benefits of the system would take so long to pay back, and at our age (late 60s) it would be unrealistic for us to go ahead. Martin called us one week after the initial appointment and we explained our concerns, he said that he fully understood and offered to pop back to us to discuss switching utility suppliers. We opted to go for his recommendations and he arranged everything there and then.

Of course, the switch took time to complete, our phone and broadband switched after 15 days, the electric and gas took six weeks.

Today, we received our first bill with all the services on, compared to our previous providers we are around £30 a month better off, that's about £360 a year.
