STILL NO FINAL BILL OR REFUND FROM BRISTOL ENERGY 5 MONTHS AFTER LEAVING THEM.

I changed from Bristol Energy to British Gas in Oct 2020, I had a credit of £276 at the time. It is now Feb 2021 & I have still not received a final bill from Bristol Energy or my refund. Weekly phone calls & emails to customer service team get me nowhere. They cannot force the billing team to send my final bill. Bristol Energy said I should not have cancelled my direct debit of £96/pcm as my tariff would increase. I recommended a lot of people to Bristol Energy & may have returned to them in the future, but definitely not now, they are the worst utility provider I have come across in 37 years.

The switchover to Bristol Energy was very efficient, when I had problems with the previous company, Bristol Energy sorted it out promptly, the service from the staff is consistently excellent, very polite and knowlegeable staff, such a change after using larger companies, the price for energy supply was a lot cheaper than the best price from my previous company.

One surprising benefit is when I have been in credit by more than what is needed to keep account efficient Bristol Energy volunteered to reduce monthly payments, never had this before. If you wonder why there are not many reviews it's probably because Bristol Energy is a local company to Bristol not nationwide, I live in Weston super Mare so it's worth checking if your area is included, I highly recommend Bristol Energy.
