One Man Band - Poor Customer Service

Unhelpful one man band organisation , when a order was delayed I asked a simple question that would of required a inquiry to his wholesaler bt openreach , he was unprepared to do so, meaning I was left not knowing if I was going to be without service for a extended period, I was talked over and generally fobbed off by their MD who then proceeded to write to me under a made up name. Profit by this organisation submitted to company’s house was £7,000 for last year, viewable on companies house website. Yet he still insisted he was a Larger organisation than he was. He seriously needs to get someone else to

answer his phones as customer service is a skill he is severely lacking in, by the end of the call I was not only not helped , but extremely agitated , and upset .

6 Years No Trouble

I got this through xilo. I had 6 lovely years of trouble free internet. I NEVER had to talk on the phone, not once!

It does cost more than some but oh boy what a treat.

Had to leave to take over nephew's plusnet account to save hi paying for a service he did not have. No sooner with Plusnet than trouble started, I wish I had just bought him out and stayed with UNO

Great Customer Support And Internet Packages

These guys are great.

I spent some time researching the various Uno packages and asking customer support

questions which were replied to almost instantly.

I decided to switch to the Internet and Phone package.

Switching was easy and it all worked out without problems.

Im now getting slightly faster ADSL speeds and cheaper phone bills!

Fixed All The Problems I'd Had With Plusnet

If I could give Uno 100/100 I would. I was with Plusnet (bought out by BT) and I was experiencing problems with my broadband for months. Disconnects, buffering, time outs, generally the worst broadband I ever had. Despite contacting Plusnet on several occasions, which isn't easy now they've made it harder to contact them, nothing was resolved.

The first day I changed to Uno all my issues went away. On the day I signed up I sent them an enquiry because I wasn't sure they had the details correct. They replied to me by email at eleven in the evening.

Really impressed and couldn't rate them higher.

Faultless Service From Uno

I can't praise Uno enough. There was a seamless transition from my previous provider with all the new router logon details provided well beforehand. The line has been rock solid ever since with only one resync in 40 days uptime. Download speeds are consistent around the 36 meg mark (800 metres from the cab)with no noticeable slowdowns at peak times. All in all an exceptionally praiseworthy service !

Can't fault uno broadband, the year and a half ive been with them have only had 2 occasions that the service was disrupted. During the time the service was disrupted we had regular updates letting us know of the progress. I chose uno broadband because of the history of positive reviews they had and my previous isp (Be-unlimited) got sold to sky.

The customer support is faultless and the technical support actually know what they are talking about.

Xilo And Great Service - Words That Go Hand In Hand....

I'm very impressed with Xilo (aka Uno Broadband) and I've been with them for a while, I'm on their Home 25GB (recently upped to 50GB) with 200GB at weekends and off-peak which is ample for my needs.

Service level is awesome, phone service could be better, as lines always seem so busy but it's because their so popular, once you get through they always take their time to help you out but in all honestly their online support system is so quick (using ticket numebrs) that you never need to use the phone - one of the team is stupid quick and once popped in on a bamk holiday.

Speeds are good and anytime I've had a drop (which happends rarely) or speed issue, it's looked into and actioned straight away, prices are not like TalkTalk, Sky or BT but it's worth paying that little bit extra but recently upgraded to the faster Pro 100GB peak with unlimited off peak product for less money a month.

Seamless, friendly and professional service for a very good broadband provider.

Excellent Xilo

I Have been with Xilo for over aa year now and have always found their service excellent, certainly after TalkTalk.I recently asked Xilo for my MAC code since being on a fixed income I have to look after the pennies now.

No problems but Xilo told me about their new bundled service which is cheaper than the ISP I was thinking of going to and I know the service will be far better. Great I get a cash saving and the best broadband by far

I thought the same as well, just wait until you want to cancel....

There will be 'added' fees and difficulty in cancelling.

My cancelling fees came to over two months of my monthly fee.

I would no longer recommend them.

Xilo Broadband Review

I have been with Xilo since last October after suffering low speeds for years with Plusnet.

At first my speed was no different but after contacting them it was discovered there was a fault at my local exchange.

Within a month my speed had gone from 1mbps to almost 7mbps.

I always find that iff there is an issue the response time is quick, sometimes a matter of minutes.

You are also not tied into a long contract, after one month you can leave iff there was a problem.

I am more than happy with Xilo and iff you go to http://www.ispreview.co.uk

you will find that they are always number 1 or 2 in the Top ten list of Broadband ISP's.
