My Broadband Service Went Down And I Was Told It W

My broadband service went down and I was told it was because of a dispute with Tiscali. I was told that the only way I could be reconnected was for ME to get a MAC from Tiscali.

After THREE WEEKS and about £40 of telephone call I finally got a MAC and now seem to be a customer of Firenet. Unfortunately I have a further 8 months of an annual contract to run with Ezeedsl but will move after that. Recorded delivery letters to Ezeedsl have been returned "not collected" and "refused to accept". I think that tells me all I want to know.

I Have Been With Ezeedsl Now Since The Collapse Of

I have been with ezeedsl now since the collapse of V21. My broadband speed is excellent and I have had no problems until the last few days when I could not download my e mails.

Have spoken to two technical staff, based in Northern Ireland. Sean was the chap who I spoke to today 5/9/08. I found both gentlemen to be friendly and most helpful.

What I liked about dealing with them was that there was no messing about, straight to the point of helping me. Well done to you both and thanks for your friendly service.

I Do Not Recommend Ezee Dsl.co.uk - Overpriced Ser

I do not recommend Ezee DSL.co.uk - overpriced service for a very unreliable, and unpredictable, product set in my experience and opinion.

Very unhelpful customer support

Very poor communication

Unreliable connectivity from day-1

Unresponsive to customer requests for information

I have had at least 5 issues with them this year alone lasting from a few days, to a few weeks - including no connectivity, IP Line restrictions being applied and most recently receiving approximately 100kbps download speed when I'm paying for 8192kbps, with no explanation as to why this is occurring and continual blame passed onto BT engineers claiming it is a problem that they have caused. The latest excuse that BT "Apparently" told EzeeDSL was that I was receiving 100kbps download because there were other users who were downloading alot in my area... I do not recommend Ezee DSL.co.uk

I am eagerly awaiting my MAC code to move to any other provider.

Too Many To Mention In My Opinion. In My Experienc

Too many to mention in my opinion. In my experience I feel I have received poor upload and download speeds that never even get close to those promised as far as I am aware. Unhelpful customer services. Unhelpful technical support. A poor customer portal for account management etc in my opinion. Calls for help are at premium rates, and always take ages to be answered as far as I am concerned (racking up charges) whilst continually telling you how important your call is. I do not recommend EzeeDSL.

Definitely one to avoid in my opinion - there are many reasonable alternative ISP's around in my opinion - that is now one of the most expensive. I signed a 12-month contract and am now just pleased to be leaving. A smaller company doesn't always give a more personal service as far as I am concerned!

My annual contract is due to finish next month - I am seriously looking forward to going elsewhere! I was without email for 3 months - customer services said "the server cannot provide everyone with email"

As With Many, We Were V21 Customers Who Were Hi-ja

As with many, we were V21 customers who were hi-jacked into contracting to this company. We have paid for a 8MB service and have never received speeds anywhere near this. We emailed and telephoned numerous times since last November but all we seemed to be doing is collecting ticket numbers. Nothing is actioned further and no-one provides a personal response and actions your comments and requests.

On 2 separate occasions, when I have telephoned them, I have run speed tests at their request. These, I promised would result in either; an improved and faster service or a refund. Of course I never got either!!!!! except yet another automated ticket number.

I have told them they are in breach of contract and that I request no further payments to be taken but they ignore me and continue to debit my card. I have contacted my bank, but unfortunately, they claim payments through a 3rd party which apparently means I cannot stop payments.

My minimum contact term of 12 months is up in November and I have been assured today on the phone once more, by a gentleman, that no further payments will be claimed. He also requested once again that I provide him with 3 speed tests and they will then review my account and reimburse me in some way. I will not hold my breath.

In all my years dealing with companies, large and small, I can assure you this is the worst!!!!!!

When E7 Went Down Ezeedsl Stepped In, Forcing Me T

When e7 went down Ezeedsl stepped in, forcing me to join them for 12 months or face 2 months without connection. That's right: although they had taken over E7's tech to be able to provide me with continued service, they claimed they couldn't give me a MAC code to release me from E7. Working from home I was left little choice but to comply as I need my email. Well those 12 months were hell. Inconsistent service, hours waiting on the helpline to talk to an idiot. If you ring back immediately and speak to someone else they will then tell you something completely different. But the worst thing is that you pay by Maestro Authorisation rather than Direct Debit - which is much more difficult for the user to cancel. So when my 12 months were up and I moved to a new provider and Ezzedsl continued to take money from me. It took me 2 months to find out how to stop them, during which they didn't answer a single email and if you rang they would tell you that the accounts department isn't reachable by phone - so you have to send them letters. Avoid at all costs.

A Support Department Who Insist That It's Your Equ

A support department who insist that it's your equipment at fault, not yours. What happened to 'The Customer is always right'!

An accounts department that do not answer emails, especially if they mention Account Closure.
