High priced cable internet. Works great, when it works at all. The story of high speed is accurate but the signal comes and goes. Forget their customer service. I was promised a credit on my statement for time down on my signal multiple times and never once got it corrected.

i would not recommend charter to anyone, they have the worst costomer service ever!!!! they try to chrage for everything to include coming out to your house to fix their problems.

I'm sick of trying to pay my bill online, not being able to as every time I try. I am told my password is wrong so I have to call in and put on hold then transferred to other people, still put on hold, have been on hold a total of almost 45 minutes. I feel this should not be happening, I have had charter for years and think this is uncalled for. I do not have time for this.

Basically Charter Communications worked when we needed it to. We seldom had any problems with it. I had heard that they filtered bit torrent traffic, but I never ran into this problem while we had the service. It was quite good. We would have gotten the same service at our new house when we moved, but it was unavailable.
