My Lifelong Second Home
I began riding at willow farm when I was age 5/6 (now 19) and stayed for a number of years until the school was taken over by new management and I felt it was time for a change. I went to another school just down the road until I was 13, where I was driven out by certain staff.
Having learned that willow farm was taken over by different management went back.
Since that day, I have been welcomed warmly into the team and family that is willow farm.
Fantastic friends, horses and environment.
The school has a huge variety of different ability horses to suit the variation of riders they receive, as opposed to having bombproof robots and to introduce riders to how real horses are.
From 14 I decided to dedicate my weekends to helping on the yard because I wanted to, willow to me has always been an inviting family environment and I have always been more than happy to give blood sweat and tears to the team and the horses.
I and the rest of the team are always massively appreciated and I even got my first job there where I was very well supported and treated. I no longer work there as I am at uni.
I have learned everything I know there from all instructors past and present and my horse is also on working loan there as I am now at university,
My mind is at ease that my horse is very well looked after and well suited to her riders. She is happy and loved by all of the team.
I have just had the most fantastic week of my entire life on the gold camp this week, was given the confidence to ride my horse like I never even knew I could and had experience of eventing and xc training.
I could not ask for more out of willow farm or any of the guys. All helpers there do it for the love of the ponies and have no obligation.
all of the horses are guaranteed not to be over worked, have hay and water at all times and are just loved as if they have one on one owners.
Very well recommended riding school. Fantastic learning environment and teachers.

Good For Begginers!
I was riding at willow farm for about a year and then my mum agreed to get me a pony of my own thats when it all started!!
Since i have asked if they had space for a new pony they were really moody with me and my mum and decided to leave, we then got a phone call fro willow farm saying all different bad comments and then was saying that i had no confidence to ride horses that i didn't want to ride (they kept changing my ponies to the ones i didn't want to ride at that particular time)!!!
The ponies were very poorly condition and hardly brushed properly, they just put rugs on because they couldn't be bothered to brush them at the time.
They are very unorganized in a lesson they didn't get ready so we spent 30 mins ( half the lesson ) getting ready!!
But the good bits are the instructors Ruth is the best instructor ever!! all the instructors encourage you and push you to the level they think your capable to do!!
GO TO Willow Farm Equestrian Centre FOR MORE INFO ON THE STABLE AND HORSES!!
Hope This Helps!!

Willow Farm Equestrian Centre Is Amazing!!!
Willow Farm is amazing i would recommend this stable to a friend or anyone that wants to ride personally, me out of 10 i would give it a 9.
Only because the staff are friendly and they have plenty of horses all different shapes and sizes and to suit yourself as well.
there are beginner and experienced lessons with different horses at different levels of experience.
If there is any horse with a problem or been injured they would never let them do anything the they would think it couldn't do they would never put you on a horse that they wouldn't think suited you or you wanted to ride.
there are different times of the day morning and afternoon, but they only do lessons on the weekends.
they never let the horses and ponies overwork only 2 hours in the morning and afternoon they let them work which is fair i think.
My favorite instructors are personally, Ruth, Mkaler? and Dawn ( Best for begginers).
sadly, sometimes there are lots of people in the lesson which sometimes is a problem it either goes wrong or you don't get much done for yourself.
There are a few kickers to watch out for, but most of the horses are well looked after and child safe.
it is £16 children £19 Adults for 1 hour.
they also do day courses at different levels ( have your own pony for a day) sorta thing to get children involved that are willing to do this.
I would love people to go to willow farm as a love it to and i hope this helps.

Willow Farm Equestrian Centre Is Brilliant!!
I have been riding at willow farm for a couple of years now and i have to say it is brilliant the staff are very friendly, and the horses are well schooled .
There are many varieties of horses big and small, there are occasions accidents here and there and a couple of kickers, but they always check if the rider and the horse hasn't been hurt or injured.
The staff do let children help out around at the stable at weekends with grooming, tacking etc, they do day courses for children to help with stable duties and management(Have your own personal horse for the day) which is 9:00 - 4:00 £40.00.
They help with confidants building and balance, they will never put you on a horse or pony that you are uncomfortable with riding or anything unsafe.
If horses are unsafe for you to ride they will pull them out of work imidieltely, after the lesson i love to help out around the yard with stuff like grooming, untacking, cleaning up and putting ponies into the field.
The stable never over work the horses they only let the horses work for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon for the horses to have a groom and have a drink and a rest.
There are different instructors the best ones i think myself are 3. Dawn,2. Mclier? and 1. Ruth.
Its only £16.00 children, £19.00 adults for 1 hour which is good for the things you get in the lesson.
Unfortunately, there are sometimes too many in the lesson which of course means you don't get much in and don't learn.
At the day courses if you can get in you are able to chose your favorite horse on the particular day, as well as that they do different levels: starter days, bronze days, silver days and gold days for the most experienced people.
they do week courses where you come every day of the week to do things like dressage, hacking, showjumping etc.
I definitely recommend this stable for anyone that is willing to learn to ride and learn quickly, they do different lessons for begginers and experienced riders.
Adults and children will not be disappointed and should go the extra mile what ever the weather.

I Have Ridden At Willow Farm For 5 Years In Which
I have ridden at Willow farm for 5 years in which time I have seen different ownership & management styles. I have also seen instructors come & go as people move on to new ventures.
The present owner & manager have a progressive approach & are friendly (no snobbery here) & supportive to their clients, old & new, but their main concern is to their horses & ponies. Any horse with a problem is pulled out of work immediately, which sometimes means that the client misses out on their lesson (quite rightly).
What I love about WF though is that I can get involved with the horses. I love to do little jobs around the yard after the lesson, & help with grooming, feeding & turnout. The staff are really helpful & always willing to teach horse care.
Riding at WF is the highlight of my week. I never thought I'd enter a dressage competition, but I have & I had great fun. The children that ride there love it. I have recommended it to several of my friends whose children now ride there. I would definitely not ride anywhere else & even though I've moved, I prefer to drive the extra miles to get there whatever the weather!
