Sedgeway Equestrian Centre, Cambridgeshire

I've done some riding and work experience at most of the schools around the Ely to Huntingdon area and Sedgeway is BY FAR the best. The people are so friendly and all the horses are lovely. Great safe horses there for kids and novices and if you're more experienced and want something quicker they have some fantastic horses for that too. Lessons are really fun, themed and helped me a lot.

The yard is perfect and all the horses are very well cared for. After visiting a few times you get to know all their personalities. Of all the school's I've visited, I would only recommend Sedgeway to a friend.

The problem is sedgeway is there are good instructors but no one else knows what they are doing!! The horses stick to the track, dont circle or work on an inner track. They are normally grumpy and some cant be tacked up by capable clients because they bite.

This riding school is very laid back, maybe a bit too laid back. The Sedgeway Equestrian Centre horses stuck to the track and don't understand what the inside track is. Riding school ok for young and novice riders.

Sedgeway Equestrian Centre is a fantastic riding school which is only one of 2 BHS approved centres in Cambs. Spotless yard and maintained and built to a very high standard. Horses/ponies are all friendly and well looked after. Excellent facilites e.g. 1 large indoor school, 1 large outdoor school, cross country course and off road hacking. They are very friendly and have good knowledge. I choose to have private lessons but there are also semi private and group lessons. Not the cheapest lessons but but well worth spending an extra few pounds in my opinion as this place is so good. I am 29 and never feel like I am being treated like a kid, they have respect which is important to me. Love this place!
