Im Quite Shocked At The Previous Review As I Ride
Im quite shocked at the previous review as I ride up at Park lane regularly with my wife and children. Safety is one of the yards top priorities and I have never had to question anything the knowledgeable staff say or instruct the riders to do . Horses are not vehicles and as such do not have to abide to one way streets . When it comes to cars and horses the onus is on the driver of the car to be sensible . Performing an emergency stop in front of horses is irresponsible as the horse can bolt . The driver can see a horse from far enough away to slow down adequately to safely pass. Park lane is an excellent riding school which I happily recommend to anyone . Perhaps the previous reviewer would like to take a trip up there and actually try riding a horse .

I Have Always Had A Passion For The Outdoors And G
I have always had a passion for the outdoors and give credit to anyone who has a hobby and who wants to enjoy the fresh air. However, what I don't understand is why people fail to it in a responsible manner.
Whilst driving down from the top end of Hoylake promenade today, I found not two cyclists insisting on driving up the one way system but also a horse training school. At one stage an accident nearly happened when these horses failed to give way and I had to witness a car (going the speed limit) having to an emergency stop. This not only put the riders in question in danger but also the passengers of the car. I later established that the horse riding school in question was Park Lane. As a driver, if I drive up a one way system I would be penalised, so why would a school (who should be teaching good practice) feel its okay to fail to abide?
Note: the driver, I later spoke to whilst parking our cars did call Park Lane Riding school and was given verbal abuse by the owner of the school. I overheard the conversation and the owner claims they are allowed to walk the wrong way up a one way system. The owner put ownus on the driver by stating that the driver must have been driving to fast if an emergency stop had taken place!!! The owner also said that the driver of the car clearly has nothing better to do but to complain about others.
Id just like to say as a witness to this, that I feel Park Lane are acting very irresponsible. Perhaps Wirral Globe would like to contact Park lane and get their feedback. Along with establishing indeed, if riders and cyclists are allowed to go the wrong way up a one way system.
