Kenyon Farm Riding School Is Where I Have Been Lea

Kenyon Farm Riding School is where I have been learning to ride for almost three years now and i have never looked back. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite and the horses are constantly being attended to EVERY TIME I see them so I know they are all in good health.

I understand that some of the horses are on livery, which is also part of the business, and if you are looking for a place to keep a horse, rest assured that Kenyon Farm is the place to go.

I Love Kenyon Farm! I Help Out There At Weekends A

I love Kenyon Farm! I help out there at weekends aswell as having my lesson. I love riding all the horses and the lessons are great and you learn quite a lot, not just about riding, but about horse care too. You also learn things about the horse you're riding so you can adjust how you ride, or the instructor tells you how to adjust it.

The stables are well sized, and the volunteers help to keep the place together. The instructors help you with jobs too.

I would thoroughly recommend Kenyon Farm. The staff are so nice, as well as the helpers.

Friendly, Capable Horses And Staff. All The Horses

Friendly, capable horses and staff. All the horses are well kept and in good health. Instructor is always willing to explain things clearly without being patronising. Overall impression is that they are willing to go the extra mile to be helpful without adding to the cost. Safety equipment up to current safety standards available to use without charge. Indoor school and huge outdoor school all basic facilities. What it lacks in overall polished presentation of some yards it makes up for in a more personal and friendly environment and a sincere desire to help.

I Find That Kenyon Farm Is A Very Pleasant Place T

I find that Kenyon Farm is a very pleasant place to ride. The instructors are great confidence givers when you fall off, and are willing to go at your own pace. The groups are in numbers of 4 or less people. I've been riding for about 1 1/2 years there, and haven't had any major problem. The yard is renovating right now, so it is a little busy, but this will soon clear up. I have spoken to some of the stable-hands, and they all have been riding for about 11 years, so have lots of experience as 16-year-olds. The place is a bit dusty, except for the outdoor arena, and you learn a bit of horse-management on the way, as well as riding.

At Kenyon Farm Children Are Able To Have Fun Whils

At Kenyon Farm children are able to have FUN whilst riding the horses, they learn at a rate that suits them and on ponies who are sensible, happy and well cared for. the horses are not overworked and everybody is made to feel welcome at Kenyon Farm. Also you are able to ride real horses not mechanical ones!

I Wouldn't Recommend Kenyon Farm Riding School. Wh

I wouldn't recommend Kenyon Farm Riding School. When I used to ride there the owners talked about the instructers behind their back and on open days they got untrained children to lead toddlers

i also completely disagree with your review.

none of the horses are ever spooked by the trains and anyway, who would want to ride a horse which has never been exposed to anything, this can be dangerous when a situation arises where the horse may be spooked.

there is now a cafe area containing a drinks and confectionary machine.

the girls who lead the ponies have all learnt to ride on the very ponies they are leading and so know them very well, better than any adults there, infact one of these girls has actually owned one of the most popular riding school ponies for 10 years now, so i dont think that is a problem.

The horses are all sensible and I have never known one try to get out of the arena also when one is riding off the lead rein then generally one would be directing the horse!

Horses all seem 100% happy when trains go by never heard or witnessed otherwise.

Yes only one toilet however not dirty it is afterall an outdoor toilet facility not a hotel.

No cafe as such however one would not eat and ride at the same time. Also people are welcome to take refreshments there if they wish - I do.

As far as I am aware there is no formal qualification required to lead horses for younger riders and these are hardly children. These girls are good riders, have good stable management and horse handling skills. They are also supervised at all times as far as I have seen.

The tackroom should really be of no concern to customers as long as the equipment is in good safe condition. Also the tackroom is shared by the liveries and the riding school so you are possibly complaining about mess that is entirely unrelated to the riding school.

Never heard or heard of any occasion where the management have talked about there staff behind their backs, everyone seems to get on really well.
