Croxteth park

I went to this riding school for 6 years and i use to love it when one riding instructor use to teach us, she always told us what we was doing wrong and help us, i learned at a lot from her but suddenly she left so that meant someone else took over the lessons for her and it was two riding instructors who took turns every week. these riding instructors was really nasty, when they put me on a hard horse to ride, i would be so unhappy and get upset throughout the whole lesson because they would just shout at me and wouldn't tell me what i was doing wrong, because of that i ended up crying at least 3 times in my lessons because i was that depressed. One lesson i was getting shouted at and i just stopped so she came over and told me to get off when she rode him (without a helmet) and cantered him around and when i got back on him she said "now do what i just showed you" she didn't tell me what i was doing wrong and i got off and went to the toilet to try and calm down.

One time i got into a friend ship with the girls who worked there and i felt kinda special that they was talking to me, but once i told them who my favorite horse was, they all turned there back on me and started calling me all names and bullying me about my riding, they all did this to me because one of the girls favorite horse was the same as mine, they said things like "she doesn't even like you" and "shes my baby back off."

there was times i had fun riding here and i miss some of the horses but i hated always getting shouted at and not being helped, everyone who was watching even thought it was bad, and how the girls bullied me because of the horse i liked. This riding school made me depressed and always scared just to look the list to see who i was riding because i didn't want to get shouted at and called names in lessons, it was really embarrassing and i'm really upset because i really did use to love this place when the riding instructors use to be nice and actually help me

On the plus side, horses are well looked after, stable lasses are helpful and welcoming, the same cannot be said for the instructors. I found RI to be unfriendly and semi-detached. Feedback has to be dragged out of them.

One last point. It is rude to ask a client about mount a horse to pay for their lesson -not as if Im gonna gallop away ! This does not set good first impression.

A riding school that thinks a little too highly of itself and needs to remember clients are paying good money. A bit respect would also help.

I've been riding at croxteth for many years now, and I am twelve years old. I am a helper, and it is amazing! It's like having your own horse. Ignore all the stupid comments about 'little children running round looking weary and tired who don't get payed' we choose to help and yes it's tiring but the most amazing experience ever!! We always get a free lesson for working. Everyone always remembers your name from the first time you ride there and all the other helpers are my close friends :D It's an amazing place to learn to ride and all the ponies and horses are very well kept for. Most of the ponies are challenging and make you use your aids and become a better rider. You can't always have a perfect pony because then you would never improve!! The instructors are lovely and willing but one of them is frequently grumpy, but is the best instructor because she improves your riding a lot!! It upsets me the way beginners go once and judge from the first look, i'm a helper and me and all my friends agree that its amazing school, so don't come on review places and post stupid things when you don't have a clue about horses!!!!!! I love it. They have a pony club were you can earn badges, do day courses and summer camp!! it is bhs certified. if i went on any longer you'd fall asleep so go and try it out yourself!! thanks! xxxxxx

I am a helper at croxteth park and I love it! When I first started I was shy and didn't make friends easy. The other helpers are all really friendly and I have made lots of brill friends since I have been here. The horses are all friendly and have great personalities. My favorites are kanga and mick! My fave job is grooming because it gives me the chance to interact with the horses! I also love turning out ponies in the fields and watch them all canter around! Love rachael x

Excellent school. Friendly and proffesional staff and a wide range of beautifully turned out horses which are brilliantly scooled. Health and safety is brilliant and it caters for all ages and abilities. CPRC is also a Pony Club center running rallies, competitions, badge work, certificates and a summer camp. Also runs competions and gymkhanas and courses for non PC members too. Hacks around the gorgeous country park can also be arranged. Would highly recommend this school to anyone.

my daughter attends croxteth park riding school and loves it she has learned a lot since going attends pony club which is great in the holidays and has a weekly lesson all the ponies are well looked after and instructors are all very good it is value for money and lovely country park hacks which you can walk along with if you want to my daughter would go everyday if she could!!

i have been riding at croteth park for about a year now and my daughter rides at the weekends. this stables outstands all others as i have been to a few.the horses are well trained and have outstanding presentation they enjoy there lessons and are all happy horses.teaching is professional they know what they are talking about.the staff & helpers are always obliging,i wouldnt go anywere else if you want to be a good rider croxteth park is the place you need to go .

I'm a student in liverpool and needed somewhere to ride, I chose Croxteth after going to view several in the area- it's by far the best, horses are VERY well looked after, excellent teaching and fab atmosphere!

Croxteth Park Riding School is the 3rd riding school i've been to over the past 7 years and it's the best by far. The instructors amd staff are so helpful and kind and the horses and ponies are always well groomed. The horses abd ponies are well looked after, great jumpers and very well mannered. The asmosphere around the stables is lovely. There is an outside floodlit school, fields in which you ride when the weather is suitable and an amazing country park to hack in. CPRC( croxteth park riding center) runs fun days and gymkanas and is also a Pony Club Center. CPRC is the best by far and you also have to visit their shop at bullens. If you are looking for a place to ride definatly choose Croxteth. Don't listen to any bad rewiew they aren't true. I was frightened when I first started there, but was joyfully welcomed, I made lots of friends and I love everything about it. IT'S NUMBER 1!

Everything is good, ponies, helpers, everything!. Has pony club, bhs approved, very friendly staff and ponies. There are no bad points about Croxteth Park riding schools.
