Bourton Vale Equestrian Centre Bourton on the Water

I screamed with delight when I saw you had cros country jumps on your website as I have been looking for somewhere that does for a long time! Would I be able to use them ? Thanks!

I adored the hack i had the other day, it was great fun and full of laughs. Three girls there, as i'm not aloud to mention names, two of them looked like sisters with a giggly personality, and one of them who had short brown hair, very kind to my daughter! They were great with the ponies and i'm very happy that Bourton Vale Equestrian Centre hires such young girls and are training them on to be stars of the future! The horse i rode called 'James' was a lovely gentle giant, and my little girl rode a dashing little white pony. We both had such good fun you will be seeing more of us very soon! Money well spent i think. Millie, my daughter, is determined to have her birthday party with the ponies. Thank you very much for such a wonderful day! 

Completely loved the experience, i can't hack out much from my stables so to come to bourton vale and hack out was a really treat. The horse was gorgeous and so well mannered it was unbelievable! i loved my hack and loved wadding through the stream. i highly recommend it to any one!!!!

My daughter, Lucy, aged 10 and her friend Annabel, 7, went out on a hack this morning. Neither has ridden much before and they both looked slightly nervous as they waited for their ponies to be led out. However they both came back beaming and obviously had a lovely time. Lucy loves the pony she rode; she said he was responsive and well-behaved. They loved going in the stream and riding through the village past the tourists...and now they keep asking me when they can repeat the experience. Thank you Bourton Vale.

I really enjoyed the hour long hack with the Bourton on Vale Equestrian Centre today. The route is pretty and picturesque and it was nice going through the water and past the water mill. Shame the ground wasn't fit for a canter but would certainly recommend the Centre to others. Staff, horses and dogs were all friendly.

Yesterday with Suzi and Natalie and Natalie's Mother-in-Law of 2 weeks Justine, we went out for an hour - Brilliant can't wait to do it again - maybe longer next time and with less rain! Natalie - the only really experienced one of us was on an enormous horse called JB, my Minky may have been smaller but she was perfect! I would recommend Bourton Vale to anyone with little or no experience. A great way to see the countryside.

Nice people and a great ride. The ponies were lovely and the views and scenery was gorgeous. I would thoroughly recommend a tourist hack to anyone of any ability and I look forward to next time. Thank you Bourton Vale Equestrian! xx

I came to Bourton Vale for a hack and the people and the horses were all brilliant! I would definitely recommend this riding centre for my friends and family as it has a friendly atmosphere and the staff cater for all riding abilities.

We went around the lovely picturesque villages and the weather was brilliant. Our hack was in the early summer, so it was a prime time for going out on the horses! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the horses had a cheeky 'air' to them, which added to the character of the place. I also saw a few kids hard at work, which made me wish I had started horse riding at a younger age, if there were great places like Bourton Vale to begin! Overall, a fantastic riding centre for all ages and abilities.

I had an hour's hack out on my own with two instructors and both were friendly and the horse's were all relaxed but thankfully mine wasn't a plod. They can cater for the experienced rider as well as novices too! :D

I would perhaps of liked to know bit more about the villages we visited, but overall a great hack and good value for money.

5 of us went on a hack with Bourton Vale and it was brilliant. Only 2 of the girls had ridden before and so the staff had to deal with 3 nervous, first time riders! The staff were very understanding and helped us considerably, ensuring we had suitable horses. It was great fun and an experience I'll never forget and i can't wait to do it again!
