Doodles Gotta Love Em!
My parents got a doodle for my younger sister. she has down syndrome the her physio therapist recomended a dog. she said doodles were good. when we first got her like all dogs she would shew shoes and slippers, strangley enough she would only chew my moms and DS sisters. one day she chewed a favourite pair of slippers and my sister cried. she has never touched slippers since.
she often takes food of the table or counter, muffins are her favourite. she will stare at you if you are cutting meat or bread.
One time ther was snow build up beside the wood shed and she would go on top. my 10 year old cousin came up for Easter and was asked to go get soem wood for the fire. the silly 50 pound dog jumped off the roof and onto my cousin it was amusing but i dont think he apreciated the sentiment. even after five years she has not quite figured out 50 lbs is not a lap dog.
she had puppies one year and they were a riot. there was 9 and we sold them all but we have seen a few since then. they all outgrew their mother.
Thanks for your review. I was deciding on buying a dog but you have inspired me to get a Goldendoodle

Fantastic Dog!!!
I grew up with Golden Retrievers and was always a 'pure-breed' type. If you told me that I would own golden doodles, I would have laughed at you, until I got to know the breed and have owned and seen many. They are the best of both world's, with the amazing personality and looks of both dogs. They are phenomenal with children and incredibly intelligent. I would recommend this breed to everyone. Also, they are used a lot for therapy work and excel in it, because most dogs that do therapy work shed and these beautiful dogs don't making them a better dog to use in most cases.

It's Not A Poodle It's A Doodle!!
I received my goldendoodle as christmas gift when i was a teenage ager. I'm now married and love her just the same. Her name is Zoie she is a handful, but I wouldn't have it any other way. She was easy to train eager to learn and love her personality. She will do what she wants when she wants. She is my fluff ball. I take my doodle every where with me. People walk up to me wondering if she is a stuff animal. She is probably the most cutest dog you will ever see i'm not just saying that because she is mine. My grandfather who didn't want a dog loved zoie so much that he went to the same breeder and got another doodle name chloe. Once I moved out they missed each other terribly so i take zoie over to have my grandfather baby sit. When zoie sees her sister she starts to go crazy. They love to mess with each other and they both are equally annoying to each other. They pick on each other.
I had a surgery when zoie was about two years old. I was in the hospital for a week and she laid in my room the entire time. When I came home zoie laid on my bed protecting my stomach that had been operated on. I would wake up and she would have her head on my pillow next to me just looking at me. They act just like humans it just amazes me.
You will never feel sad when you have a doodle. When I look at zoie I immediately feel better. Yes they are high maintenance, but they are completely worth it to know that you have unconditional love. Plus they look like a teddy bear. What more could you want?
This is the dog to get if you have or want children. Zoie has always been protective of my niece. When my niece was a baby she would lay in front of her cribe and sleep there all night. When my niece would wake up in the middle of the night zoie would come get me. Everything that she does amazes me.
Always remember it's not a poodle its a doodle! I tell this to the groomer because I love the way zoies fur is and how fluffy it is. I do not want her coming back looking like a poodle. Once you find a groomer you like stick with them. Zoie loves to go see her boyfriend!!!

Five Star With Reservation
I love my 9 mos. standard goldendoodle. He has become a smart, wonderful, respectful and sweet dog. He is everything I had hoped for when I was looking for a dog after my pitbull passed away. My pup is great with dogs, very good with small children and very social with people. He is a goofball at times. He is becoming well trained pup. Having said that, the breeder was right, goldendoodle will test you as a pup. They are smart and will need lots of mental activities. Be prepare to keep them busy and to meet their social and exercise needs. Beware, goldendoodles love to eat socks and surf counters. They will take your steak if you are not watching.

Great Dog
These dogs are living, breathing teddy bears. Ours was very easy to train. Great companion who equally loves lounging and watching TV or romping on the beach.

My Goldendoodle Puppy Is 11 Weeks Old And Is The L
My Goldendoodle puppy is 11 weeks old and is the light of our lives. She is so pretty and her downy fur is gorgeous!! Her name is Bailey and she already answers to her name and sits beautifully. I had a Westhighland White Terrier for 17 years and he was lovely but very independent and did everything on his own terms. Bailey loves to be with people and is great with my sister's Cocker Spaniel Mabel. I love my Golden Doodle - she's like a real life teddybear. The breeder was great and has been on the end of the phone for any advice.
Might I ask the name of your breeder? I am looking for a Golden Doodle to use for a therapy dog.
Thanks

I Have A 2yr Old Goldendoodle Called Boo And I Rea
I have a 2yr old Goldendoodle called Boo and I really cant imagine my life without her. She is an absolute pleasure to have around the house and extremely intelligent, fitting into family life beautifully. My lady does not moult (my son has allergies, hence getting a doodle) although sometimes I think that may be more of a hindrance as her fir does matt if left too long but there are some fantastic tools that can be used to deal with this problem. Boo is such a joy to have around, she plays enthusiastically with anyone that will give her attention, is very gentle and very quick to learn. Boo has a bark that would make anyone think twice about breaking into the house (if only they knew what a gentle giant she really is). I really do not know of a better breed for a family pet and would most definitely recommend not just to a friend but to anyone that loves dogs <3

We've Had Our Goldendoodle For Two Weeks Now - He
We've had our Goldendoodle for two weeks now - he is 13 weeks old and adorable. Everything a lively puppy should be and some more. He is lively, inquisitive and playful. Not over boisterous and loves to play with our young grandchildren. He has learned toilet training really quick, considering he came from a breeding farm and not a home environment. We can't wait to take him out for walks once he has had his second injection. The vet gave him a 100% checkover and was completely happy with him. I don't think his coat will present any problems - its so soft and silky and easy to brush. We also have two cats who are coming to grips with having a new arrival - he wants to play - they do not!! impressed!!!

Bought A Lovely Gooldendoodle For My Active Parent
Bought a lovely gooldendoodle for my active parents in their 80's. It is a great dog, gentle, fun-loving and with a great sense of humor. Each of these dogs are different and so is the price, so shop carefully. We hope to train this dog to perform some basic tasks around the house as he wants to please. This particular dog does not noticeably shed, but that can be dog specific. Suggestion, make sure breeding parents are hip dysplasia free. Personally I love the more active breeds (like the Portuguese water dog), but this is the perfect dog for an older couple who have the time and energy to devote.
