Salters Maintenance Dog Food

My Weimaraner has been on Salters for seven years. He is fit and healthy and loves it. His coat is beautiful and I would highly recommend it.It goes a long way and the natural ingredients make it very tasty.Anne Kennedy Dog food delivers promptly and a bag lasts me approx 55 days so good value for money

My puppy suffered from bad constipation whilst on Salters Puppy Food. It got so bad he had bleeding.

Since switching to another brand he has been fine.

I do like the fact that Extra Virgin Olive Oil is used as a preservative though.

Salters Maintenance Dog Food is an excellent diet that my Jack Russell really loves. She is normally very fussy and I have had no problems feeding her this food, which was recommended to me by a friend. She looks great as well on it, so I would recommend this food. It seems great care has gone into the quality of the ingredients, with many of them being sourced outside the normal pet industry channels.

My 2 year old Lab is doing really well on Salters Maintenance Dog Food as is my 14 year old Jack Russell. A bag feeds the Lab for approx 54 days so it is really good value for money too. He adores it, his coat looks great, his poo is a more manageable size (perhaps too much information but I think it is testament to the fact that the food is not bulked out just for the sake of it), it keeps him lean (he's castrated so weight management could be an issue) and he never seems to tire of eating it. It is the only dried food that the Jack Russell will eat. Customer service is excellent too. You're not likey to receive a call from Pedigree to ask you if you're happy with their service but this is not uncommon from Salters.

My little dog is very fussy and I was delighted when I got a sample of Salters and took it home and she ate it up and was looking for more. I have now been feeding it for 2 months and she looks fabulous and is still happily eating the food and not turning her nose up.

Have tried all the well known brands and Salters Maintenance Dog Food is the only one that my dogs really enjoy - their coats gleam and all digestive problems which were encountered with other dog foods have gone.

Salters Maintenance Dog Food is the only dog food using extra virgin olive oil and has no additives and preservatives, 'added' or originally present. This is quite unique. Also they use food fit for human consumption rather than waste meat. I feed both my German Shepherds on this and they have small solid poo, healthy coats and most importantly they love eating it. I found that I do not need to give them as much of Salters as I used to give them of other dog foods so although the cost per bag is more it still costs me the same each month. I switched to this food as one of my dogs has a very sensitive stomach and it made a real difference.

When I phoned Salters they were really helpful. They are not owned by a massive company so they are very passionate about what they do. I would recommend this food to any dog owner.
