Purina Bakers Complete

We purchased Purina Bakers puppy food, and with immediate effect this changed our puppy into something like a demented hooligan, he went crazy, charging about the place jumping barking almost hysterical. We could not believe the transformation from a well behaved puppy to this crazy one. I emailed a friend for advice and she asked me what I was feeding him on. I said I had just introduced a this food. She said take him off it immediately. I did - he is back to his lovely puppy self. DONT FEED THIS TO YOUR DOG. it is full of additives. I should know what this is as my daughter was similiarly affected as a child over thirty years ago. You would think manufacturers would learn, why feed animals with this stuff if we know what it does to humans. Absolute madness.

we have two young dog jack russells and they love your bakers complete with rabbit and duck no hesitation to scoff the lot excellent we have tried also your other brands but not a fast as rabbit and duck just excellent

I was feeding Bakers to my dogs for a long time before I realised the ingredients were of a very poor quality. The company appears to put more money behind their advertising campaigns than into the food which is full of colourings and additives rather than natural ingredients. The food offers absolutely no benefits to the pet, in fact having discussed with others amongst my dog walking community, their dogs suffered from a number of health issues whilst on Bakers. With so much good hypoallergenic pet food on the market, why would I consider feeding Bakers again?

After reading all the bad press on how bad Bakers complete dog food was for your pets, I would just like to clarify a few things! Dogs are like humans: as in, we humans cant tolerate certain types of food etc. so what suits one dog doesn't necessarily suit another! I Have two whippets that are now 2 years old. Before I started to feed them on Bakers Complete there coats were very dull. Two years later my dogs are top class and look fantastic,they have shiny eyes and coats like silk. Wherever I go people comment on how shiny there coats are and how great they look. My dogs look like they do, purely due to the food that I give them. In my experience bakers complete is the best and finest dog food on the market.

In my opinion Purinas Bakers Complete is one of the best I have come across in regular dog meal products.

My dog Georgie loves this and wolfs it down happily,I give him equal

amounts in the morning and in the evening around 2 cupfuls for each meal.

My dog is classed as a medium sized dog but is big for his age over 1 year old.he is a cross between a bearded collie/bedlington terrier and a greyhound.

This meal has all he needs that a lot of other meals dont have in combination.

Beef chunks and country vegetables that give protein 23 per cent this is a high percentage compared to other meals,calcium,fibre, vitamins A,D3,E and carbohydrates for energy.

Bakers Complete is more expensive than other meals though

not by a lot more.

With this you recieve a lot more in goodness for your dogs health

than with other meals that labour more on quantity than quality.

In short you will buy this more often than other meals due to its size

but there is more benefit to your dog and you will see the difference
