Company Is Dirty

Champion food made promise after promise to independent retailers to carry and promote their food. The promise was not to sell to large franchises.

During 2012 the company had great difficulties producing enough dog/cat food for the retailers demands. This continued for throughout the year and straight into the better half of 2013.

In the summer Champion decided to go back on their word and sellout by signing up with Pet Valu.

Independent retailers were confused due to the fact that the company could not keep up with the demand already as it is.

One month later Champion demanded their supplier to increase to minimum quantity for ordering Orijen and Acana. They increased it more than 2.5times the amount it.

Obviously this was a scheme to drive out the independent store owners to be able to provide to Pet Valu. Many stores went out of business after marketing their product for years only to lose their customer base to Pet Valu.

Champion pet food has insisted of bankrupting hundreds of Canadian business owners in 2013.

Stay care away from the company.

For Years I Believed That Hills, Eukanuba, Iams Et

For years I believed that Hills, Eukanuba, Iams etc... were the very best you could give to your dog - then I started to explore what was in these foods and I got an Education! Most of the commercial foods are filled with cereals and very little meat content. Some have better ingredients than others, but the facts are, that contrary to what most manufacturers would have us believe, dogs actually need far more meat than what is in their food. Enter ORIJEN. Based on what a dog would eat if given a choice, this food is in a league of it's own. It costs around the same as the premium brands leading the market, but with ingredients which are far superior, using NO CEREAL FILLERS which dogs do not choose to eat. Instead, carbohydrates are included in the form of vegetables, herbs and grasses which would be found in the stomach of natural prey. For years we have been misled for financial gain from petfood manufacturers. OPEN YOUR EYES AND READ THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE FEEDING YOUR PETS! Change to ORIJEN and give your best friend the best!
