My Fussy Bengal Cat Loves Supermeat

I have 3 bengal cats, one in particular is extremely fussy and normally will only eat the really high quality high protein wet foods like natures menu etc...However, on trying her recently on Whiskers supermeat she absolutely loves it...She will not eat any other whiskers wet food though, so will stick with the supermeat as an option for a bit of variety.

Whiskas Supermeat? Most Definitely Not Super. I Ca

Whiskas Supermeat? Most definitely NOT super. I cannot believe that so many people are in the dark about what constitutes a good diet for cats. Cats are carnivores so they must eat meat. Cat foods such as Whiskas or Felix contain only 4% in their standard brands. They make up the majority of the other 96% with junk.

Dry cat food is NOT OK to feed cats exclusively. They derive most of their water from the food they eat and a cat fed on dry cat food will be permanently dehydrated and will eventually develop kidney ailments which kill cats often. Be sensible. Look at the ingredients. If they look like junk they probably are. Whiskas and Felix spend a lot of money making their products look good but what's in the tin ain't the same. If you love your cat then FEED IT MEAT.

you need to read the label properly. the 4% refers to the content that is as on the label. for instance chicken flavour is 4% chicken, 4% other meat. Whiskas total protein is around 8.5% but don't forget 82% is moisture so the protein content is actually 50% with 50% other bits (usually cereals)

I Had Problems Feeding My Cat On Most Other Brands

I had problems feeding my cat on most other brands of food. She won't touch kitekat, felix or supermarket brands but she goes crazy for supermeat. I have only tried the rabbit version so far but it's the first time she cleaned her bowl and asked for a refill. Her tail quivered and you could see she was noticably excited for another taste of supermeat!

My Cat Use To Be Fed On An Expensive Brand Of Bisc

My cat use to be fed on an expensive brand of biscuits along with the occasional odd home cooked meal. However a couple of years ago he started having problems with his teeth. This was nothing to do with the food he was on, but down to some problems he'd had when younger that had reoccurred. He ended up having to have most of his teeth out so hard food was no longer an option.

Because of this I gave Whiskers a go and my cat seemed to love it. I think he actually liked the meat in gravy or jelly rather than the supermeat, which he sometimes wouldn't finish. That might have just been down to the smaller chucks being easier for him to manage though.

On Friday afternoons on my way back from work, I'd often treat myself to an M&S meal, so I'd pick the cat up some of their own brand cat food as a treat. Now, having seen this food, I could notice a big difference in quality! The M&S food I gave him looked good enough for humans! However, my cat didn't seem to mind the difference at all and would happily go back to Whiskers after trying the M&S stuff. He's healthy with a nice glossy coat so it must be doing the job!

I Got My Cat From The R.s.p.c.a Four Months Ago,

i got my cat from the R.S.P.C.A four months ago, and through trail and error have discovered that the cat will only eat whiskas super meat, unfortunately she will eat only the chicken version, i was just wondering if Whiskas do the packs of six in just the chicken, as it is a waste of money for me to buy a multi pack only to have to give away four of the tins.

My Cat Enjoys The Soft Food, And The Small Bits. B

My cat enjoys the soft food, and the small bits. But most of all there is a lot of liquid; maybe a bit too much and less food than there used to be in the Whiskas Supermeat Cat Food.

I Had Old Whiskas Supermeat Cat Food In A Bowl And

I had old Whiskas Supermeat Cat Food in a bowl and new Whiskas still in the bag. The cats ripped open the new bag and left the food in their bowls untouched. Cats won't eat anything else.

We Have Tried Every Cat Food In This Same Category

We have tried every cat food in this same category - Friskies, Tescos own brand, etc. - Whiskas is the only one that our cats will eat no matter what. They particularly like the supermeat probably because it seems to have less jelly/gravy filler. While we know they'd probably be better off with one of the special IAMS or Hill's-type products, our budget, at the moment, won't stretch to it, and certainly our vet has never said it's a problem. And I suppose the main thing is that the cats are happy with it!
