As a previous member of staff I wouldn't recommend leaving your dog here, I was shocked when working her how little dogs are exercised a walk up the drive in the morning and a walk in the afternoon so in all 10mins of exercise a day!!!! With the rest being locked in a very dark kennel. They say it's a holiday for your dog 100% not!!! Your dog is locked away in cold dark kennels.i did not stay working in these kennels for long, and would also like to point out the staff are employed with no experience in working with dogs.so please think again about leaving your dogs here.

I would not leave my dogs just anywhere, crossland is a fantastic kennels all the staff are very very helpful. I see a negative regarding kennel cough! Kennel cough is airbourne and all dogs are required to produce their kennel cough inoculation cert. There is nothing more you can do. One. You cannot blame the kennels. I feel there was an underlying reason behind this comment. My expeirience in dealing with hounds for 20 years helps. I saw my two whippets excited to be going into kennels thats always a good sighn. They came out today spotless. Thank you everyone.

Alfie our Cavalier King Charles has attended this wonderful Hydrotherapy center for 7 years now, without it (when he has other ailments he could not attend) he would not be here. They know so much about their skill and always get it right. Staff and owners are extremely accommodating at all times, they are professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They go beyond what is required. So a big thank you to you and all your staff.

We left our two Border Terriers with the Kennels for a week. This was the dogs first time here and I will now never go anywhere else. Clean and modern kennels with happy helpful staff. Thank you Crosslands!

Left my two girls there for a week, thankfully not two! First impressions when I got there was negative by a young girl who to be honest gave me little confidence on what my two dogs were going to encounter the week ahead. When we were due home, I telephoned to ask if we could pick the dogs up early at 6.45am as we had been travelling all night and had two kids with us, to save us having to drive all the way back to the kennels again, I must mention we flew from Cardiff airport and the kennels are 10mins from there, this would have saved us another journey ontop of what we had already done during the past 24hrs. I was spoken to by the kennel owner, who told me in an awful attitude 'certainly Not'! She told me she had twins in the house and that her husband was away, this left me with very little confidence of the company my dogs were having to endure. After all she is surprise to be running a kennel business not a crèche, I did not like her attitude and she could have been a little more considerate to her customers. TO TOP IT ALL My two dogs have now got Kennel Cough!!!!!!!!

My 5 year old cocker spaniel has been a regular at Crosslands since he was 12 weeks old. He goes there as a day boarder while I am at work and he stays with them whenever I go on holiday or away for work.

I can't recommend them highly enough, not just becuase the kennels are clean and spacious, the staff professional and caring but because I know my dog loves it there. Any dog owner will know that leaving their precious pet at a boarding kennnel can be difficult but with Crosslands I always know he will be cared for as if he was one of their own pets.

Mike and Julie are very knowledgeable and always have time to chat and offer advice on dog-related issues.

Last Christmas my dog was really ill with a neck injury. I was due to go away and had it not been for Mike and Julie I would have had to cancel my trip. They arranged a special kennel for him, syringe fed him and took him to the vet weekly while I was away - I couldn't have asked for more. They also sent me regular texts and emails to reassure me that he was on the mend.

I would (and frequently do already) recommend Crosslands to anyone who is looking for a boarding kennel in South Wales.

I would just like to say how pleased I am with the service I received at Crosslands Kennels. The staff were very friendly and polite and the kennels were clean and spacious. They were very professional and took all the information they needed to care for him whilst I was away as he can be sometimes nervous around strangers.

I was recommended by a good friend and my neighbour also uses the kennels to board their dogs whilst they go on holiday. I would highly recommend Crosslands to anybody who is concerned about leaving their dog whilst on holiday, my dog was happy and looked very well when we collected him at the end of our holiday. It has put my mind at rest that I have a safe, loving and friendly environment to leave my best friend while I relax on my holiday! I will definitely be returning when I go on my next holiday soon!

never ever take your dogs to crosslands kennels, upon arrival we were greeted with a women who l might add was the owner with a attitude telling us to wait in reception, no greeting no hello, we then asked out of curtesy were our dogs well behaved to be then told "l haven't seen them, l have had far more important things to do, she than told us that we would be charged an extra day (even though on the terms and conditions states if picked up before 10am no charge applied)as we had changed dates which was not the case as we had told them if we got back in time we would pick them up on the date given.

never before had we been treated with such unprofessionalism rudeness and total arrogance.

after a bewildering welcome we asked to be taken to collect our dogs, and to my horror my one dog was lying in urine and the bed l had supplied was sodden with urine and vomit, which had probably been that way for the 4 days they were in this godforsaken place, the dogs absolutley stunk and when we returned home immediatley drank 3 large bowls of water between them.

l have always had the most heartfelt feelings about putting my dogs in kennels and unfortunatley after this experinence l have been proven correct

please find yourself a proper kennels, these do not deserve to be in business let alone look after much loved pets
